A NIB complete Daytona Thunder Group c, which i'm not sure as to keep in the box, build it or sell it on like i really should do!

A can of paint from Rossmod and a very large box from Seidel. I ordered two of this colour last week and they only had one in and instead of just cancelling and refunding me they sent it out free of charge when they had more stock. Top marks!

Inside was this lot:

Bits for various projects and the chassis for a new one. The unpainted body set is the BMW M3.

Hang on there's something else at the bottom...

Not really the postman but a friend of my and his family came to visit for the weekend, as we were unloading his car he gave me a box and said this is for you :o Turns out he was into rc cars 10 years ago and he had this lot lying around his house and said I can have it if I wanted it............of course I accepted his kind offer :D

Battery's are almost toast but other than runs like a dream! I'm thinking I might sell it to help fund some of my vintage projects

A vintage celica on a ta02 chassis, which came in an original escort cosworth box (only reason I bought it :D )

Also came with a big bag of spares, as I went through the bag I realised there was a lot more than just spares so started building, ended up with this too :)

A rather nice manta ray (yes another one) with a pretty good Terra conqueror body.

I need to work out a paint match as I think the PO ran out of paint on the wing.

Due to the ever decreasing stock at Banzai I felt I would be letting the team down if I didnt secure a particular item on my to buy list.... and so After only 4 short days, an incredible package arrived... Torn by the dilemma know too well by TC members as "Gottoomanyprojectsonthegoitis" idecided to open this boxfd9e6e31b228227bd05ba2a528bed81e.jpgonly to find and not to be surprized this a52e3ec16a44dfc31e3ee48271604f97.jpg..... I'll be fine when feeling comes back to my face after smiling so much...

Nothing RC related, but you guys will appreciate this... I fell in love with these while visitng the UK a few years ago. No one in the US carries them for some reason, but my lovely wife discovered that you can order them from Amazon, and every once in a while surprises me with a box...

I think these are fab looking 4x4's, I'm sorely tempted, but I don't need one and I really shouldn't!

I've always fancied a three speed and this seems to be the most cost effective way to do it at the moment. I'd love a mountain rider or bruiser but not viable... This could be the one that sits for a while before I start it... You might get one to sit on as they are shipping to the UK for like £200 all in from Banzai. I was just talking to Wez-li about them.. He's tempted too

I put a WW up for sale to buy this and then got no offers or bids... So I'm in the dog house... It's an expensive hobby, when you're not moving stuff along to get new.. Unless something drastic happens money wise this will be the last purchase for the year..

Hopefully they'll still have stock at the end of June. Cant pull the trigger till then, and judging by the size of that box I'm gonna need a few weeks cooling off before (and after) it arrives at my front door

I practically lived on Jaffa cakes in boarding school in Northern Ireland. I used to eat everything but the jelly bit and then let it slowly dissolve... Those were the days.... If I did that now I'd be 400lbs and welded to a couch.

A small haul today.

DF03 A parts

Hi torque servo saver x2

Quicrun 1060 ESC x 2

Turnbuckle wrench

730 size bearings x 10

Also, I subscribed to Racer magazine through a link on Facebook - £27.00 for a years worth, which I thought was a bargain, and today my first issue came through the door (July 2015) which has another excellent article from John Weston looking back at the hobby and what it was like to be a young hobbyist during the golden age of RC, even if you didn't own a car, and what it was like on the high street. Mentions and photos of old magazines, Tamiyas, Maruis and Kyosho, among others. Big shouts out to the shops of the day - Model Mart, Howes of Oxford, Nicks Kits, Beatties, of course, and even a mention of my local, Michael's Models in North Finchley, London. I used to spend hours in that shop and bought my first 'big' model kit - an Airfx B25 Mitchell in 1/72nd scale. Brilliant.

Also included in the subscription to Racer was a free gift of A Beginner's Guide To radio Controlled Model Cars. Informative and interesting, laden with Tamiya pictures, but must be 'old', as there's no mention of lithium power or brushless motors anywhere.

I got my DT02 CVA shock set, spring set and steel pinion from Banzai.

All recommend kit from T.C members and I'm looking forward to fitting it and running my Holiday Buggy with it.

I'm a big fan of T.C and it's great members.

Love Banzai too, shame they have fallen out with Tamiya!
