5 days and 5 deliveries…. That is a record for me. Some parts for the TRF201 and a metal pinion for the DT-02

Interesting though as I ordered this stuff 6 days after some other stuff for the TRF from the same place and I haven’t seen it yet and this means I still can’t get the TRF build underway. Hope this isn’t lost in mail like the vintage Falcon I won and now has a trace going with Austpost to see if they can find it.

Set of 95mm oil filled shocks from blacksmithproducts on eBay. £10 for 4 !

Metal balls either end, good chunky plastic bodies complete with screw down preloaded collars. Oil is too thick for my kingblackfoot, but easily sorted with some fastrax 35wt silicon oil. They seem as good quality as the xxl traxxas shocks at less than half the money !

Will be looking at what other lengths they sell and probably trying the alloy bodied versions (£15 for 4) too.

Got a few things upon my return to cairns, firstly some JConcepts 2.2 tyres front and rear for my ZX5, a range of traxxas steel pinions, a lipo powered glow ignitor, then some onroad wheels and tyres for my onroad GT project, a full set of pin spikes for my Avante (when I order it), then my lemans 240 for my optima project, and lastly, the cream on top, a really nice Fox Shelfer, to be added to my showroom once stripped and polished.

Truggy / desert racer shell from seben in Germany turned up this morning, very impressed as it's all prepainted in three/four colours and cost £15 delivered. Should be fine on the king Blackfoot chassis maybe with some more SC biased Tyres though!

I ordered my charger a couple of days before KalEl63, and I'm still waiting.

He only lives about 20min away from me too!

I'll be ordering some of those LiPo's this weekend also, hopefully they don't take as long to get here!

I got my power pack for my charger delivered yesterday so I have everything now to charge my new Lipos and balance them even the little digital plug to check the balance of the cells other than the charger.

I though might as well it only cost me a few bucks.

The big delivery today was my TRF201 Version 1 body and wing but the big part that was stopping me starting the build of the TRF was the 3/16 x 3/8 front axles. So I think I will start the build on the weekend.

A TEU-104BK and new idler gear from Model Master in Sheffield to go in the £26 eBay Fighter Buggy RX that is destined to be the nephews "disposable" basher. Straight from jiffy bag and into the car!

I cut the wires on the original MSC and left the resistor/heat sink in place - the car looked wrong with it missing!

postie brought me the coolest thing that i have gotten in a while, a 150amp 2250kv xerun combo.

this thing is huge and very fast. ran it last night in my new rc8be and it barley got warm. i can't wait to hit the track.

i may go to the local bmx track at lunch today just to bash a bit.

The wheels and brakes finally arrived for my FF01 Ford Cougar project. These are nice! TopCad alloy 2 piece adjustable offset wheels. 3Racing disc brake set, which doesn't fit a FF01 (or TA01/TA02/TA03), so will need to be modified. The tyre fitted to the wheel is just an old one I had laying around and is more perished and cracked than I thought. The wheels will get a set of HPI V-groove tourer tyres when finally fitted up (very close to the tread pattern on my real 1:1 Cougar).

F103GT with a LC70 Mugen /Advan Courage body. I wanted to try out a F-series chassis for a long time, and now that we have moved outdoors to a larger track, I'm looking forward to retiring my trusted TA04 for a little while. The stock tires seem very soft and grippy - any take on how they will perform on tarmac?

And will it make sense to go BL from the start, or are these cars plenty fast with 23T brushed / Lipo power?

New real alloy Rims and nice new Wheelnuts for my Kyosho Pure Ten Spider MK2 but sadly I managed id allready to scuff one wheel one a paved walkway....

they are now officially initiated...

Well they will get some new tires soon but for now those have to fit

I Am also thinking about getteing another set of those but in different collor and style since they are really cheap at the moment it makes sense to invest in those rather than in cheap plastic ones.
