Well, the other day I got some hex drives, a servo and some lexan scissors.

Shame I'll have to wait four weeks for my Carson wheels/tyres though.

But today I got my ***** Falcon bodies.

Ordered two, but there were three in the box. They threw in an extra body for free! :)

They were closed for trading when I first ordered them and had to wait a couple of weeks for them to despatch them, so I guess that's why I got the extra one.

Thanks *****! :(

Impulse buy on ebay (again)

Looks like a Tamiya F1 car clone?

It came with a Team Mtronix 23x1 Vision Modified motor and a steering servo.

It is new/half built with box + instructions and lots of new parts still on the tree.

I just hope all the bits are there!

Last few bits to complete my Axial Cherokee.

Rook rack, BEC, servo and short links to fit the Cherokee body. Had to re-order this lot because the first hasn't arrived. Think it's gone but shop has agreed to refund me after 15 working days.

Just waiting for metal fron bumper with winch mount and rear metal bumper with spare wheel mount and the Cherry will be complete (for now).

Also got tickets for the Bluetones farewell tour in September - awesome :)

A nice new set of Carson all terrain wheels & tyres for my Holiday Buggy '10. Only took 3 days to arrive from Germany too. Just need to finish off my Buggy Champ and then will get stuck into building the HB. :)

Very nice. :)

Where did you order them from?

I placed an order for them a couple of weeks ago from a supplier in the UK,

but they couldn't despatch them until the start of July, so I cancelled the order.

Cheers mate.

I got them from German seller "modellbau-frommer", thanks to the heads-up from VW-nut.

There's another set on ebay at the moment, another German seller but the postage is quite high.

I might just wait and reorder the other ones next month.

Postage to Oz is quite high from Germany for some reason.

Thanks anyway. B)

Today I recived two early 60s diesel engines manufactured by Graupner, a Taifun Hurrikan and a Tornado.

They need some cleaning but are in good condition for theyr age.

The Taifun Blizzard wich is the one with blue anodized parts is my first one I do have it for about 7 Years now.

If I get them from Fusion, total cost will be about AU$16 less than getting them from Germany.

Doesn't sound like much, but when a set costs nearly AU$50 landed, I can't justify it.

It's not like they're gold Fox rims!
