A new gear box tree for my blitzer beetle, as well as some stadium blitzer body mounts just in case, waitng on new beetle body mounts as the front upright was broken when I got it.  Nothing exciting.  Well maybe a little.

Since this is a rere I'm thinking I'll build this next instead of the Terra Conqueror, Looking forward to compare the build to the Super Hotshot, Egress and Optima. And not to mention how it drives compared to those.

My buddy @Crash Cramerin TX helped me with the purchase of some manuals I am trying to recover from having had to sell my buggies years ago. Now I'm recovering the cars and the manuals, you know. AND Chris also gave me a couple of presents that really took me by surprise, the MRC catalog, full of full color pictures of the 1987 Tamiya RC lineup in action, AND this fantastic book that I always wanted to have. Seriously guys, if you like old school RC pick-up trucks this book is absolutely a must. I'm soooo glad I finally have it, THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRIS!!!

Oh, I'm a happy camper today! I sure am! :)

I am sure glad you are a happy camper now. I thought who better to appreciate the MONSTER style of all the trucks in there. Good ole stuff that was just hanging around my house too long collecting dust. Be on the lookout TC members, stuff could make it to you too, I will have to re learn how to get into these forums and read and then I hope I can help out everyone I can.

Got my $24 Dynatech 02H motor :-)

Lucky devil, I just bought a very nice, yet opened, but not run DynaRun Stock with its paper for about $25usd. I am still happy though as it is not a bad price for a pretty cool looking motor.

They are both dog rough lol.  The Xtreme is going to be my basher / project, it's had  a bit of garden shed engineering over the years lol I will stick a thread up in the next couple of days on it restoration.  The 58058 I haven't decided what to do with it, it got a broken body mount, trailing arm and missing glass and sunroof.  It does have a good front grill which I will stick into my shelfer as it has had a couple of holes where a younger me fitted some lights

I had some glass around here for the BF 58, don't know what else is here that could help out, but let me know.

And now you got me thinking I have to figure out what to do with my NEW BUILD TF. They are cool, but the re re dropped only a few details from the original, shocks come to mind as different, but other than that, I am lost.

I am not sure what to do with it yet.  The only reason I have it is because it came in the the deal with the Xtreme, which is currently in pieces awaiting parts.  The body on the 58 is almost mint, it might find it's way onto a KBF chassis and become a SBF clone.

This is why I run brushless. So little upkeep and longer run times. And less expensive.

It's just for a shelfer so no maintenance, but I totally agree on using brushless motors.

Courier delivered a Castrol Civic VTi body shell and a second CRX body shell today.  I was a bit gutted when I saw how squashed the box the Civic came in was, but thankfully I can't see any damage.

One of these days I'll actually get around to buying an M05 for the CRX bodies.
