Got some postage today , woohoo . 

Just some odds & ends that i have been going to buy , but just sat there .

So i went screw it just buy it & be done with it . Got two DT-02 ball diffs << don't even own a DT-02   . 

But i am going to get the sand rover  As i would like to build the grand tour hammond buggy .

Yes i know it's been done , but i like it . I didn't like the DT-02 chassis at all , but it's growing on me  ..

IT'S HERE!!!!!!

  Got in my Astute with all the goodies, my new Peak Lipo, AND my M01 Mini Cooper from Taiwan

 

oddly enough I was a little more stoked about the M01 than the Astute.... Looks like Im gonna need some Astute parts now.........

 

Plus side, I got an extra set of wheels that will go on the madcap so I can scratch those off the list

Today the postman brought me a Vajra kit - NIB to be built     Tamico.de had it up on their 'weekly special' last week so I was stoked to get this at about 30% off!!!

This is my first Tamiya purchase in 2 years (I think?) so pretty excited to get going on that and bring you guys a build thread....

very good, congrats on the buy, got mine at tamicos xmas sale also 30% off. a very cool car and supposedly an exciting build ( car is still sitting nib in the cupboard). i am anxiously waiting for your build threat now...

You know what that looks like to me?? It looks like Tamiya's way of gouging you for buying only ONE shock when you get two in the 53155 package??? That is my take on it.

Nice to hear someone else uses 75 MHz radio gear. I want to someday have a set of EVERY crystal that was "legal" BITD on the 75 MHz band, I am about 6 sets shy of a complete set for each frequency. I will find them someday, but then the meteor that was mentioned over on another post will come and it will all be for naut.

Yes exactly, I'm sure they would have been cheaper than the 53155 set back when they were released but now quite a bit rarer than the pack of 2 dampers , plus I'm a sucker for the hop up cards/packets

Madcap rear wheels..... with some cards that were included in the package (from Japan) and a 3Racing M05 diff....... I assembled it but didnt realize i needed different bearings for this........... BUMMER

Came home yesterday to find this sitting on the front steps.  Used but in great condition for a restoration. Complete runner off eBay.

Man I was going to bud on that guy!!! That seller had some sweet stuff listed, but was charging a load for shipping... this was one I was sad I didn't bid but glad it went to a fellow TCer

My Dyna arrived today  It came with new rim's but no tyres  Luckily I had a set of proline rib spike fronts & some cat spikes for the rear that fit nicely  The body hasn't been trimmed completely which is nice, So I can tidy up the edges easily  The decals haven't been installed well So I'll see what I do there, Maybe stealth

Yeah shipping was  bit expensive but it's worth it.  Been looking for one of these for a while now.  Body looks really good with so i'm pretty sure it will restore just fine.  Really just need a bumper and the piece under the gearbox and the underside will be mint. 

Who makes the most accurate repo decals for this thing?

Yeah dude didn't post underside pics so I hesitated.... 

also I normally use MCI for their decals but was pretty underwhelmed with the monster beetle set. So if you're looking for shelf queen do what I do..... hold out for originals (bear hawk body sets usually list for like 50 so worth waiting for) or if you just want original looking decals then MCI is great for that
