The postman dropped off the brushes to rebuild/repair my neighbor's alternator, FINGERS CROSSED as it still bench checked well enough after a quick clean, but the knowledge of electric motor brushes wearing out from good ole RC helps to point to the real failure of the part and so, we shall see.

Yeah you should, but then again since they are re re releasing it again you will get it cheaper once they do.

Wow, didn't see them, but then again i have stopped for now looking for em. 

Yeah i wish tamiya could have made different coloured parts for all models, maybe on demand.

I drove 90 minutes south to Austin (closest hobby shop) to get some sand tires for the DT-02 so I can run the beach during my upcoming business trip.  They didn't have any selection.  If I wanted sand paddles, I was buying Pro-Line Sling Shots for SCT.  I'm fine with Sling Shots so I supposed this is the Universe's way of telling me I need to find a way to pack the SCT instead of the DT-02.

I hear and feel your pain, those two HobbyTown USAs only seem to cater a lot to the RTR set and where they have lots of things, not always useful things. Perhaps it is the universe's way of telling you to kick back at the beach and watch the girls go by with a beer.

Today I received this juicy lot of old Kyosho parts (and extras) I got from @Static Age so I can finally get the Hi-Rider Corvette going. Thanks. I'm EXCITED!

And just two days ago I received this fantastic 2017 calendar from a very good friend in TX (You know who you are pal, and you can be sure such a cool calendar is going right along with what is already being one important year for me -I know you also have important things going on over there, so I'm wishing you the best there is and most of all THANK YOU!!)

YAY ITS HERE!!!!!!!! well, one of them is....

and a TL01 Acura Beams I scored on the cheap.... will use the suspension for a project and sell the car as a standard TL01... but this thing is brand new although body is pretty banged up (looks like the guy raced it back in the day and then rebuilt the chassis).

I haven't taken the body off the Skyline yet, its so pretty.... (I also got a NIB decal set for the Skyline not pictured as Im trying to flatten it out- was shipped in a box)

And lastly 3 sets of Tamiya Fighter Buggy RX decals (scored a NIB body for this guy and it's on it's way too)...........

Hey Mud, that one TL01 chassis sure looks to have a hole in it at the steering servo, is it still holding grease in the gearbox??? I wonder how someone gets a hole there?? WOW

Well, it was YESTERDAY in all technicality, but I got home just before the wife WHEW, she almost saw this one and I would have had some 'splainin to do to quote good ole Ricky Ricardo and THIS monster was on my doorstep
