Upon a quick look over , it looks like im going to need a bit more than first thought to convert to a grasshopper etc.

 

Looks like all i can use is tyres, body and screws. 

Oh well, back to the hunt for a cheap roller.

Would have posted the BRILLIANT Tamiya i bought the other day but courier driver turned up the 10 minutes I went out and the decided to take it back to his depot and put it in for an automatic re-delivery which means i couldn't pick it up and it's going to turn up AGAIN when I'm not in so at the moment it's touring around my local area AGAIN! So then it can go back to his depot AGAIN and so the cycle begins AGAIN.......Oh they don't re-deliver on a Saturday when people (generally) are in!

Can't blame the poor postie he's an old boy who's doing the job for year's (in fact i think i was still in a nappy when he started his job) lovely guy! The local courier's now that's a different matter.......Must go now I've got to put the ninja suit on to liberate my RC!

Postman brought my Rx Controlled Switch.

Anyone know how I connect it up please?

I guess the plug goes to the Rx but where do the 2 bare wires go?

You've proved (I think I read somewhere else ?) that your lights work permanently if you plug them straight in.  So they're getting a positive voltage and an earth.  You need to tap into either one of those wires with your new switch (using the pair of bare wires).  That lets the switch either make or break the light circuit.  Then you plug the switch into CH.3 of the RX so you can control it.

Arrival from Seidel after ordering Monday PM. Great service as always. Almost my quickest DE to UK order but Staufenbiel managed in 3 days. 

Tamico is still usually the slowest at 4-5 days but that's not too shabby either and it's always consistent.

PS this is just the top layer, it's a deep box. Got to justify the delivery costs 😀

But it only goes to 60km/h, you need a much bigger screen for your cars!

You don't need another battery holder if your lights run off your receiver. All you need is a Y-lead. This will allow you to run both the lights and the switch to control them off your 3rd channel. A lot lighter and neater than an extra battery!

That's just one of the the current speed display options... it has a better Max Speed page.

Liberated this little beauty from the courier driver that kept on attempting to deliver it when the five minutes a day i was going out then he would take it for a tour around my local area then return it to his depot then the cycle would begin again the next day!, Anyway got this off eBay for an absolute steal (and i really mean cheap) the guy built it never finished it and i think lost interest in it! Its got all the alloy upgrades savox digital steering servo and ball diff upgrade! It had only been on eBay for about 10 minutes (right place right time) my hand were shacking as i bought it just incase he'd made a mistake on the price or someone beat me to it! He never no one never and hear it is !
