The "Postman Brought Me" Thread

This ebay find just arrived. Despite the dirt, it's in really good condition. No road rash on the underside and all the hardware is original. Nothing missing but the body and tires. It has one broken axle tube, a twisted body post and a lumpy speed control servo. Looks like maybe the servo failed and it ran into an immovable object and overheated the speed control. Seems like after that it went into a box in the attic and hasn't been on the road since.

last bits for a TA04 build, 6 years to get everything(almost, need a blue chassis post) with bits come from all around the world.

I was going to do a build thread but I think its been done!

These arrived yesterday.  Rubber sealed bearings for my daughters TT-02 rally car, 30,000 CST diff grease and a 2nd battery for the still inoperative Crossfire quadcopter.

This arrived today.  I'm still waiting on some bits to arrive from Michigan, the U.K., Japan and Hong Kong for the build though.  I'll paint the body first and by the time I'm done with that hopefully the remaining parts will have found their way here.  There are a ton of TT-02 builds here already.  is there any interest in me doing a build thread on this guy?

I was hoping the postman might have brought me the paint I ordered on 10th April, that I planned to use to finish off my shell over the Easter holidays.  Still not arrived.  Serves me right for buying from Ebay instead of supporting my local model shop I suppose.

Indeed, you should support your local model shop - use it or lose it.

As I've just acquired a TT02 then yes if you have the energy for a build thread go for it, I will watch it and no doubt pitch in with questions of my own ;p

Ok, sounds good.  I'm still waiting for parts to arrive from far, far away so I likely won't be able to start on this for a couple more weeks.  Once all the bits are here, I'll do a thread.

Raised it with the Ebay seller yesterday, they sent me another one which arrived by courier less than 24 hours later.  Can't argue with that customer service.  Presumably my original order is still rattling round in a ParcelFarce depot somewhere.
