Somehow my Mrs snuck this passed my nose!! She even bought it down the stairs in its massive packing box covered in wrapping paper (she is 8 months pregnant) Im speechless! I love her so much!

Received some good items after a long shipment delay, and the Volvo packing box is the biggest and heaviest I've ever seen.

Got my hotshot ( 2nd one ) got lots of new parts with it ,

New chassis , dog bones , three sets of gears , screw bags , pins ,

A parts , cups , ball connector bag , even more netting &

Even big wig F parts .

This has the super shot suspension again like my last one i got .

Nice Hotshot :lol: I was watching that one. Could have been packed a bit better though IMO.

Got a reply from Jason, my missing parts are on they way :o Also sent him a message asking if he knew about the history of the Astute I got off him.

No reply to that one though <_<

I saw it on Yahoo! Japan auctions a few months ago (it is hard to forget that paint scheme). I did consider it then but I got a Dyna Storm instead.

Not today but I got a FAV and two Holiday Buggy re-releases earlier in the week.

Yesterday the postman brought me a Proline Silverado 1500 body for my Slash 4x4. Included with it was a Pro-Line catalogue! I had to sneak away with it for some alone time. mmmmm Proooo liiiiiiinneee...

hi guys been awol for a while,hope you are all well.

I got these the other day!!! post-35500-1312543418_thumb.jpg From rougeelements for my blue scorcher, baja 1.55's so scale looks will have to get tyres soon, very happy with the quality and chris is a true gent to deal with.

I'm sure bones and sulu will love the new look too.

Won this for a suprising £68 the other day!!...always wanted one of these..but hated the originals silly plastic torsion bars!..this one has the far superior metal sprung steel type yay!!.

The kit is half built & as-new...everythings present..i just need a speed controller & sr300 reciever.

I'll complete it steadily & paint in military original colors...those wacky side-box art are not my cuppa!!...it'll be used carefully..cleaned & used again, like all my Tamiya's!!.

that is a bargain and a half of an xr311 a proper scale model suitable for driving. your very lucky, good to know it's going to be used like your style :D

rough rider servo saver and front body post

a collection letter for a 'packet' that wont fit through letter box - struggling to know what this is !!

oh, managed to buy another blitzer beetle whilst on holiday, just got to arrange collection by courier.

Lol - just updated the 'how may you got thread' and yes i have a bit of a problem !

Remembered what the packet is - few sets of 'pseudo Tamiya looking stickers'

Hey guys,

So The postman did try to deliver, twice, but I wasn't in, :P , so "This is what I went to the depot to collect":

Came with a wheel controller complete with all electronics fitted, and the Technipower motor with negative power lead detatched from the motor. Everything was in need of cleaning including the box front which after a quick wipe with a damp cloth actually came out white. :(

It wasn't only the box that got a clean, the whole car was dissasembled and cleaned over the weekend and put back together. Shocks with new damper oil, both front and rear gear boxes re-greased and the next step will be to strip the motor with the spreading tool (which is still attached to the blister pack and has never been used) and give it some tlc (new brushes, tyres, pinion on order from Tony's Tamiya Parts), and resolder the negative power lead. I've also got on order the 8.4 battery holder, a TEU 302BK ESC and a BZ motor which should give more grunt than the Technipower even after a rebuild.

The yellow body looks quite neat with only a small crack at the front right (as we look at it) by the slotted hole so I'll leave it as is and order a repro body to do a box art. Inside the box is an unused set of original decals plus an unused/uncut/unpainted rear wing (is it possible to just get hold of the front cowling from anywhere??).

The wheels were painted yellow as well, :rolleyes:, but that's ok as I'll simply cover them with some oval blocks (as the spikes were obviously non existent :D ) , use them for running, and put the pin spikes onto the gold plated rims I got last year from ebay (forgot who sold them but he did them in silver as well, which I've got on my Hotshot) and leave them for display.

This will be a runner so I'll post up some more pics once the restoration is completed.

Got some stuff for my Losi XXX-SCT... mainly to get the rear end a bit softer as the RTR set up is a bit hard.

I am getting excited about the 24 odd things I have coming to get all my cars up and going :)

Happy with this delivery today. The BL systems for my TRF201 and Losi XXX-SCT…. Now I have to get some soldering done….soldering just seems to haunt me :)

soldering way to easy . Nice stuff you got there :) but no fox i see :( .
