Two bottles of dry track lube at 75p a bottle

What's the dry lube for? Is it like a graphite powder or something?

Both bits are magnets. The large bit pins on top of the body post. The thin disc is glued inside the hood.

Doesn't seem to want to work with the Tamiya Adspec G301 I have installed in the Txt, also tried a Kyosho K200 with no dice, wont arm itself. 😳

The first upgrades for my Feiyue have started to trickle through. These are the front drive shafts, so some reason they've machined the outside after the parkerising treatment.

Now what do I do? Paint them I suppose. 😖

Just made it home from vacation, and the postman had a few things waiting for me...

First up is a set of aluminum wheels from HobbyKing.  They had a sale recently and these caught my eye at $10/pair.  The specs on HK's site say they are 15mm offset; I think that's a typo and should read 5mm offset as these are comparable to other 6mm offset plastic wheels I have.  I think these wheels would look very nice with a black on-road shell.

A 55T crawler motor arrived from Tower Hobbies, too.  This is for the VW Amarok team build I'm doing with scollins.

Welcome back, if you don't like those wheels...... I think they look sublime, but are they for 26mm touring tire or what??? I bet they are now sold out, but if you don't need em.....:D I can't wait to see what you and SCollins throw together.

Oh, I definitely like the wheels!  I tried some 26mm HPI X-patterns and they fit very well.  Tamiya has a few 26mm tires too.

Product listing:  https://hobbyking.com/en_us/1-10-aluminum-drift-7y-spoke-wheel-black.html?___store=en_us

They're surprisingly light; I expected them to be heavier.  Given the offset these would likely work best with a 200mm body on a 190mm chassis.  I'd hate to run them on asphalt for fear of scratching or dinging them; they probably would work best for carpet drifting or on a shelfer.  I have a nice HPI '67 Corvette body begging for some gloss black that would work well with these.

I don't know that game but have been tempted by the new Nintendo NES that has been released. It looks like one but is smaller and has a heap of games preloaded. I have a Wii and the Super Mario Brothers and Mario Kart keep me quiet. Also, I wouldn't want to try to explain another thing to my wife when there are loads more rc cars I want!

Jonathan I've not seen that new NES as I was a Sega kid ( rivalry st school was fierce between the two, I had to pick a side lol) but I've seen there is a new Megadrive that is much smaller and also preloaded with 80 games so it's a common trend now with these retro systems... but these are licensed out to other companies and apparently not as good as the original platforms.. be it graphics or sound. This is why I plumped for buying an original rather than the newer released versions :)

ive now bought about 6 games that I'm waiting to arrive, all hold good memories but I'm sceptical if they will live up to the memories ( 90's graphics!).

Must confess if I walked into a friends house and Mario Kart was on the TV I would spend a couple hours playing that till my fingers were sore! Love that game ;)

Fantastic game, loved my megadrive.Did you file the cartridge slot back in the day to accept ntsc cartridges? Like above though, Super Nintendo was king, once Super street fighter came out nothing else mattered...........until the PlayStation came along.

Did you have a mega cd,32x?

I never got the 32x and never filed the catridge slot, might consider doing that this time round to accept other carts though ;)

My wife actually approved of this purchase when I said it will free up her laptop for her to watch her never ending Chinese drama's she is engrossed in!

Coning my way is Golden Axe, Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage,  Double Dragon, Desert Strike and Super Off Roader.. can't wait!

I had Golden Axe, Double Dragon (1 and 2) and Desert Strike on PC, loved them. I only had a Master System II before switching to PC, but loved the Mario games at friends houses.

One problem with the old consoles is they are never as good as you remember them. A friend would come over every Tuesday night until we finished the new Super Mario (both around 30 at this stage) and then she bought a Nintendo 64 to relive the old games and they just didn't cut it. Hope the Megadrive is as good as you remember (with those games it will be!)

Some excellent games there, shinobi was also a favourite of mine. I have always been a console gamer, starting with the master system, then I bought a megadrive, 32x, mega cd both versions, snes and n64, I also during that time paid £400 to import a Japanese PlayStation which I had to have a transformer for and only one game and a Neo geo. Fast forward through the decades and Xbox all versions and PlayStation all versions, queuing up for midnight launches(cod, GTA etc). My wife has given up on me growing up😂And now my daughter is the same as me👍
