I don't have a photo, but I did get my M05 bearing set today in the mail even though it was delivered SATURDAY, seems my postie can't read my address anymore and gave it to my neighbor down the block, they just got back to town, so now I don't have a trip to the post office to raise some cain tomorrow, scratch that from my list, but now I can go to another post office and put some bits in the mail for Wandy.

Postie brought me this. No transmitter (was not meant to have radio gear) but servo esc and receiver are in there. Has no wheels though which i knew about. Now I have a M03, M04, M05, and M06. 😆

I just talked myself out of an M06 Alfa.  If I get one I'll also end up buying one of every m-chassis.

Good choice. I have the pumpkin on the  M06 chassis. I used to have a M04 s2000 but the bodies are impossible to find, and since I had the other three, getting another M04 seemed like a good idea. But you are right, I want the M01, M02, and M07 now... 😁

I didn't even know there was an S2000 Tamiya body until the other day.  I started searching and then quickly realized I'm more than a few years too late to find one. :(

Something about the m-chassis makes them so collectable.  I'll have a several before long, but until then I'll pretend I'm capable of some restraint.

Looks in good condition, sure hope the M04 specific parts are intact, but there is a member 3d printing a few bits for the m04 these days, perhaps with more to come. I have a similar addiction, have all from 1-6, just have to get them sorted and rebuilt and of course they have come out with 7, so now have to figure out when I will get one of those and what body will it have on it.

I know, my s2000 body was a bit beat when I got it, and yellow. Yeah i think thats the trail I am headed down, wasn't looking to collect them all, but now woops...

Yeah it is pretty tidy. Needs bearings and a steel pinion but the chassis is all great apart from a few superficial scratches on the bottom. The body has a small ding and three splits in it but otherwise fine and can be fixed. I got the MX5 body for this but i may just keep the alfa one on there as i prefer it more. Yes I am trying to figure which body for which chassis. So far I am at M03/Mini, M04/Alfa, M05 has a Suzuki swift temporarily  but i plan on the Gen1 CRX body. M06 has the pumpkin body. If I got a M02 it would probably have the beetle body on it. Then I would have to decide on an iconic fwd body for the M01 and M07.... hmmm...

I'm sure the shipping would kill us both, but I have the s2000 body, someone before me painted it red and it could use some TLC, you also have to put the larger than M sized wheels on it per the kit, I have a set of those in silver, but the tires might be glued, got a set of HD in black, also tires might be glued. If you have an interest in getting the body, I could see what it might cost to get to you. I think the decal sheet should be the second hardest thing you would have to find, unless MCI have made it???

If only shipping was just based on weight.  I'd end up with a room full of lexan bodies.  Of course then I'd still be too broke to afford paint for them all.  ;)

I'll have to pass on it, but thanks for the offer.

I don't really like the sickly paint finish of some aftermarket parts, so I bought this to " Blot Out The Blue".

It was delicately delivered by Hermes.

there is no way i would have accepted that esp with out a fair few choice words abused at the driver. then i would stick a claim in for damage.

the handlers must have been fragile tape blind

I'd love to know what these delivery drivers would do if they got a parcel like this!!

Well chuffed!!! Got a genuine used thunder dragon shell. Very good condition but painted terribly in black and red. Luckily the paint they used is just acrylic so with a bit of tar remove and some cotton wool it's coming off a dream. Will be going box colour silver and may do a driver as well for display!! :D very happy camper

So it's not just me that Hermes delicately delivers packets to:unsure:! I managed to get probably one of the last buggy champs for sale in the country a while back it took me ages to find and the shop sent it Hermes and I think they were playing parcel Olympics and used my buggy champ as the bullseye for the javelin event because it had a hole straight through it including the body! To say I was *****ING angry was the understatement of the century:angry::angry:!!!!! Even thinking about it now makes my blood pressure hit the roof!!!........now I'm off the have a lie down!
