Did you already paint your TBG shells, or is that what this is for?

Not yet but yes I will use some of these for those shells... I forgot you can use silver for backing lighter colours so I got a couple cans here. These are old cheap stock so not sure to risk them on my favourite shells, hope they work ok.

Just cut out the Cosworth body and test fitted the rear wing which was a pain to get it right.

This arrived from Tamico yesterday

2017-10-11_08-51-50

The offer was just too good to miss.

Took it out for a spin immediately. I have never driven a front wheel drive M-cassis before: massive fun!

In other news, a new 225mm Wheelbase shell for my above M03M, this lovely Datsun 510 is from TBG meaning the Suzuki can be driven like a lunatic ;p

And a Saint Dragon shell to eventually be a runner shell for my Thundershot once I get round to rebuilding that one.

The Saint Dragon was my first RC that I got brand new.  It's a pretty wild body!  First was a hand me down Rough Rider.

Lots of bits for various projects. Lots of square peg servo horns for early Acoms kit, original Scorcher decal sheet, MK1 SRB front towers & rear double bearing arms, body clip, cam locks, F150 Ranger front body post + original wheels, and finally springs for an M02 project that's turning into another money pit! 😂

Got this off eBay, Subaru brat and wild one. Both have very little use and are near mint minus the dirt and oxidation on the white parts. The Subaru brat has some non stock rears and a small crack in the rear glass where the driver mount is attached too.

A courier arrived this morning which got my hopes up, and it was a sample box that my wife was expecting (for those kiwi's on here, a black box)

BUT my TRF102 is in the country, the more I check the tracking the faster it gets here right?

My spending splurge continues with this new addition the Postie brought me - a very tidy new built and never run (maybe once) Alfa 156 on a FF02 chassis...

I've removed that very odd looking thing in the middle called an MSC, the receiver and throttle servo and they've sold within an hour of being on Ebay, I think I priced them too cheap lol ;p

And last but by no means least.... now I am currently in the process of trying to build my very own Tiger Striped Escort Cosworth but when this came up for sale I couldn't resist it..... it looks all original..... a car I thought I would never own as I detested my Manta Ray trying to handle a brushless system, and I believe this is the same chassis just in touring car guise.... is it a TA01 or TA02?

TBH I only bought it for the box and shell and to own  a rare iconic car that I absolutely  loved when I was youngster... atleast I own the toy version of the Cossie now :)

Love the tyres, but these are not glued and have no foams in them and now have flat spots from siting for years in the same place... I will try to revive them somehow.

Plans for this one?? Who knows... should I attempt to restore the shell and decals?? SHould I give the whole chassis a strip down, rebuild/grease the diffs and get it running again with a nice,  easy on the drivetrain,  27t motor running on nimh batteries... It would be nice to have two Cossies!

Time will tell.

My TRF102 Black Edition arrived this morning, will put pics up when the other order that is now in the country arrives. I was sceptical when the courier handed it to me, thought it was an empty box it was so light! Funny how you pay more to get a whole lot less...

No mate, I don't go for the battered kit. That F103/04 though is mint, hardly looks used must be worth 3-4x what I paid at least.
