A fairly hefty parcel has arrived which could contain any number of kits I have ordered to be honest.

I suspect though it is going to be another Juggernaut 2 which I will depending on condition, I will be splitting for spares and refurb.

Thats brilliant! I wish I had so many kits coming I didn't know what arrived! My wife doesn't though

Hmmm yes and no, I'm getting close to having a big purge to be honest.

Fantastic, please give us all first dibs here on TC to save yourself those pesky ebay fees... the way you packaged my TT02 would make Santa jealous it was so well done.

You'll have to get your sell list together and take it from there. No more F1 cars for me just yet lol.

Today postie brought me:

A pair of HPI X Pattern tyres for the rear of my F103GT to hopefully give it some grip.

20 x foam body washers

MCI tyre decals,

It was near to me, so I collected it. My new LiPo safe. 😁

I heard, (disclaimer! 🙄) to remove the seal from the lid, so if a lipo fire does occur, it realises the smoke/pressure to stop itself becoming a bomb. I removed them, as the logic kind of made sense.

Yep, I can see the logic in that. It feels and smells like neoprene and the lid really clamps down hard. I’ll cut a vent gap in the two sides and leave the rest so the lid doesn’t rattle.

Cheers Matey. 👍

You destroyed your Swift already, top man :)

Yeah, killing my brushless Striker just wasn't enough :angry:.

In truth my slightly overenthusiastic 4 year old hit a fence. Repair with fibre tape and shoo goo worked wonders though, the body is almost as good as new again ( from a distance)

A few bits came yesterday

YLnbkyNq5DbiiNfkIu4dWiWww_JYkQPy5g34HzLo

There's some parts sprues and plastic gear ser for my on-the-way Top Force. One sprue is for the servo saver parts, the others are for reportedly weak/commonly damaged parts so that I have spares on hand.

A couple of Bluebird servos, one for the Top Force and the other for my RC10 (I robbed the Alturn servo I had for that to put in my Aqroshot). Not used this brand of servo before but they were reasonably priced, reasonably well specced and had good reviews.

A Trackstar Sportman ESC, this is for the Top Force or RC10, whichever is running first. It's a blinky mode sensored brushless ESC with a few programming options and just over £20. I'll see how it works out and if it's decent I'll get a couple more.

A programming box for the ESC.

Some male Tamiya battery connectors and some Tamiya style motor bullets. The ESC doesn't have any connectors attached and I can't be bothered changing all of the connectors on every ESC, motor and battery so these will do for now.

A Core-RC micro receiver for the Top Force.

A pair of rear suspension hinge pins for the RC10.

Some Tamiya O-rings. Mostly I've got these to put in the drive cups of my Aqroshot, which I've converted to metal dogbones, but it's handy to have a few around as spares.

Had these monsters arrive today, bit of an impulse buy & not even sure what I'll do with them, although the Lunchbox is looking a bit too standard at the moment...

Nothing very exciting  - a set of alloy wheel hexes at 7mm thickness which might help the wheelarch visuals of the M03M Suzuki Swift.

This arrived yesterday from @Tamichael. 5 days from being shipped in Austria to being delivered in the UK.

SaPuT_GrnI26rgm_bkHP6QZe4QPsg7N9Up8ime0X

At first glance it's in pretty good shape. A few scratches to the underside of the suspension arms, but nothing out of the ordinary. The screws holding the undertray on have seen better days though, the heads are quite well rounded. I should still be able to get them out, but they won't be going back in. I couldn't find the whole screw bag for sale anywhere, but I did find 4 of the right size screws so ordered those.

The body isn't too bad, bit of paint flaking off here and there, same with the undertray. The wing has a couple of splits in it

Front tyres are as if they've just come out of the packet, rears have a bit of wear to them

In the coming weeks, I'll strip it down, give it a clean and rebuild it. Might treat it to a new body, wing and undertray.

An A4 cutting mat. In trying to avoid damaging my nice white desk at work, I've cut myself a couple of times. This should fix that!

Now I need a set of Tamiya / JIS drivers for each location and I'm set!

I have this Tamiya screwdriver set. Again one of those things that once you have one you never look back.

I have an acquaintance who buys a new set for every model kit he makes. A bit OCD on his tools.

I have the blue handled 8pc R/C tools set and keep shuttling it between work and home.

Time to get one for the desk at work!

Been on the hunt for an original box for my Sandscorcher for some time, think this will make a nice substitution in the meantime...
