Looks interesting a Top Force colored LandFreeder. Are those tires the NO NAME SIDEWALL Mud tires, similar in tread to the BFGoodrich sidewall marked tires?? I might have to note that part number for future purchases as if the Landfreeder's tires are the same as other CC01, they could be lacking in the traction department on surfaces other than tarmac. I can't say I am in love with the TA01/02 chassis Hummer tires much either.

I have to ask, what is this?

Also, I see the 'Crash Cramer' sticker, that explains one users name

The previous owner had stickered the car, but it is a Nichimo Exceed. just finished adding ball bearings to everything but the outside rears. sure did tighten it up. The weird thing about its one is the front and rear differential out drive shafts need a 4x8mm bearing on each side. never came across diff like that from BITD.

Yes, they are the no-name tires, and the thread is identical to the BFG branded ones.  After receiving these I see I could have gotten the BFG ones for not much more.  I thought I would give them a shot as the stock tires look very weak for any type of off-road adventuring.    I hope the green metallic will look good on this.  My son is insisting it gets painted that color to be the same as my 1:1 truck.

Are you going to back it in silver, white, or black? It changes the “depth” of the color on the shell.

Honestly haven’t decided.  Originally I wanted this rig to have a noticeable color, like yellow.  If I continue that route I will back this green with white to make it as bright as possible.  But I also like the idea of black for more of a deeper hue.

Here is a pic of my 1:1...

That did!  I like it!  Might do that and have the silver double time for the bumpers and other details.

In all seriousness can you get an after market Thunder dragon body and decals? if so anyone got a link?

An aftermarket one has just been listed on eBay 142671707039.

After a bit of back & forthing with the seller I bought this off the bay, the decals are a bit naff, but it's in the colour I wanted + the stainless rear bumper is a nice detail. Thankfully it is actually a genuine Ranger shell & it also came with the clear front screen & the grill is in good condition too, the paint on the rear bed is a bit patchy but it'll probably be sprayed black or vinyled anyway

Also had a load of SRB speed controllers turn up which will be used for parts

Looks great, I vote for putting vinyl on the bed of the truck to help the paint look better. You need all those msc’s?? Sure looks like a bunch of them.

Got a fan  my tble02s for my monster beetle. Looking at the instructions i am shocked to see to install the fan you use double sided tape. That is the best they can come up with

Thats strange given the fan is recommended for 10.5T motors which are within spec for the ESC. It made me check my TBLE-02S and sure enough, no mounting points for a fan. My others all have screw holes...maybe its a sign you need to upgrade the ESC too...
