Have you started it yet then...I’m impatient 😂

You building a buggy or truck?

building a buggy that can hopefully get around the local track (indoor off-road carpet)

will hopefully start as soon as I've got this M05 Ver II R chassis done :)

Technically not the postman but picked up last week a Tamiya TA05 V2 Honda Raybrig HSV 010 with hop ups, Torque tuned motor, Tamiya Brushless esc and all in mint condition for £60. Not sure whether to keep or sell it. The body is a little front damaged but comes with light buckets and led bulbs all fitted too.

Bargain.

New shell has arrived for the girls DT03 truck conversion.

Need to do a rough cut and then the head scratching can begin regarding rear mounting! Have an idea just don’t know if anything exists to make it happen.

Girls are already planning colour and scheme ideas!

Thanks. But this one will be built as a Porsche 911 cab :)

After nearly two months, two light sets arrived. Here is one of them:

I am not sure I noticed the "Tamiya branding" the first time around... It at least looks a bit attractive, even if it is not an authentic Tamiya part.

I was hoping to put one of them in my Lancia 037 4WD-H, but there might not be need for one in that particular car. My original Lancia Rally will definitely benefit from the lights, though!

No I haven’t tried the light kits, hope to do it one day.

There are fans who have come up with alternative build for the Cooper. I will be building these two

so only missing one Mini Cooper set now to build all 3.

Had a few bits arrive.

Some rubber sealed bearings from rcbearings. I needed a few for the front wheels of my Monster Beetle as I'd "borrowed" the original ones I bought to put in my Top Force.

A couple of pairs of Schumacher turnbuckles. These are to replace the steering links on the Monster Beetle and Blackfoot to allow centreing the steering servo. Blackfoot already has some but they're a touch too long, the new ones are a few mm shorter.

Some 1mm thick shim washers to shim the front wheels of the Monster Beetle and Blackfoot and remove some slop.

@Man1c M0nk3y Yes they stay in. Plastic bushings for smoother pivoting.

Great stuff thanks for confirming. Don’t recall noticing them in pictures.

Edit: maybe it my eyes but it certainly looks like Alex has none in his although he may have removed them of course...

Finally got my new soldering iron after sitting in a USPS facility 10 mins away for 5 days! Yes, something I should have been able to get locally without a problem...but couldn't:angry:

Now to wire up my first brushless motors to play with.

A GPM Racing Front Suspension arm Mount thingy!

Not got the car to hand at the minute so could @ThunderDragonCy @TurnipJF @ALEXKYRIAK or indeed anyone else who has one already confirm if theirs had these plastic inserts and if so are they meant to stay in when fitted?

Inserts in question...

Thanks.

Interesting. Neither of mine had these. Clearly a slop reduction device. Someone’s been reading our threads!

Although I’ve seen these on other GPM products such as c-hubs. Would be interested to see if these inserts can be sourced individually as in sure they’d be very useful in other areas.

Mine has the inserts. They stay in. They work well, nice and smooth with virtually no slop.

The postie tried to bring these on Saturday but we were out, so my wife kindly went to collect these from the post office today while I was at work.
