The dinosaur or the Window frame :D

Cool, does  mention that it needs to be mounted facing a certain direction for it to know when it's not straight and self correct?? (Like an arrow on the underside maybe)

Well, suprisingly either my 27mhz and unknow servo are bot compatible.

to be honest I did not try on another radio or car, but I requested and got a refund without even them offering a second device. A lot of people wrote that they are faulty on some forums, about mounting position, on the package it had written, “connect servo to gyro bla bla... leave for 10sec to setup and ready” also the two setup screws nowhere mentioned and the kabels should be facing forward according to packing, but on a youtube video where a dude shows how it actually works the kabels are facing backwarda. Now it wont even setup after 10minutes. I must to try it on another full digital gear.

Treaded radials for 40th 934, the pin spike ATU tires are listed as an upgrade for the WR-02 pn. 54603 and come in soft compound. They will be going on my 4wd Lunchy as I keep developing it. After some confusion and hesitation, my "secondhand or thirdhand NIB" M-06 decided to show up today!

Even my wife likes how "pretty" it is.

The scuffed up roof surface should be the protective film.  One of the 3 pins for the diff cover was broken, but one pin won't upset the balance.  I'm pretty happy that I got a touring car.  I wonder if I could handle a mildly hot motor? (not the car's limit, it's my limit)  A brushed motor should be plenty.

I have 4 options; [1] a stock motor w/ 24 degree timing. (my favorite basher motors)  [2] 23t motor (I can alter the timing)  [3] 19t motor (I can alter the timing)  or [4] maybe I should just install the silver can and learn to drive around cones first?  The last time I cared about the precision of where the car was heading was when I was 13.  I raced with Porsche 956.  It's been so~ long since I had an on-road car, my Porsche 956 could have a kid of his own by now...

I have a 19t double in the back of my M-06 with a 7.2v Nimh battery using the largest pinion. Plenty quick enough, I did try a 13.5 brushless with a Lipo but felt it was way over powered especially as where I bash the surface is a little slippery.

@Juggular That is so pretty. Having tried it I am just not an on road guy, but things like keep making me waver! I'd pop whatever mild motor you have on the shelf in it and see how it goes. Given how ballistic my considerably heavier Thunder Dragon is on 13.5 brushless and 2s I imagine a little mini chassis will be a "bit" of a handful with that in!

Try it first with the silvercan, the are pretty quick, well atleast my M03 was, after I installed the 23T LRP Runner2 and its perfect. Dont need more speed, and traction is an issue but at least with a 23T it is easier to handle.

Another Striker..... this one from France...... finally I got a Striker box too.... now to chuck it in the shed and let the spiders have a new home... calm down....I jest... the spiders are already at home in all my other kit boxes!

This Striker has barely been used, looks like the previous owner has somehow worn down the front tyres to get rid of the ribs and make the contact area much larger now... nice job I approve.. it should stop it driving like it's an ice skate stuck down a crack in the pavement.

I think this is now my 5th Striker, and yet I only own 1 Sonic Fighter.... the SF rarely comes up for sale!

(A few months ago I bought my 4th Striker from @taffer which is a dry runner but still in very good condition, at that same time I also persuaded him to part with his shelf queen Futaba FX10.... I'm loving my little collection.... should organise a group shot soon).

That is me done spending now for 2018!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems to be the opposite to me.
Not seeing Strikers anywhere (did see one bundled in with an Egress, too spendy!) but seem to keep finding Sonic Fighters, and even FX-10's.
Oh well.
I've been told not to buy one anyway.

Pablo... buy one of those Sonic Fighters and I’ll swap it for a Striker!!! I can’t find any sonic fighters in the UK lol... where are you seeing these SF’s?

Racers won’t like the Striker as it’s an awful handling car compared to what they are used, but Apples 🍏  and pears 🍐 .. if you like it then you like it regardless of what another’s opinion is it... stay strong 💪🏻 :)

Good god, even @Juggular has an M06 now... ahead of me owning one... the shame the shame... congrats Juggy, driving with a silver can around cones sounds a good intro to me!

I haven’t got one either. Got the body set from a low ride pumpkin though. Yet another ‘project’ in the queue...

I agree. I still run the silver can in my M06 Alfa. I think it suits it well for a parking lot basher. I did put a 9T brushless in my M06 Alfa once. Just for fun to see what would happen. With the open diff, it just wanted to spin out at the slightest touch of throttle. At full speed it was nearly impossible to stop safely. I ended up sliding into a curb and breaking the rear suspension. That's when I put the silver can back in.

Silver can it is!

The allure of power is overwhelming.  It takes all my self-restraint not to buy a 4500kv motor for it.  Making it a one-way rocket to "destination cinderblock" is one way to enjoy RC too.  But I want my RC cars to have a long and boring lives than to go out with a bang.  With a silver can, I should try to tame my unruly driving skills, not dandelions and crabgrasses. (they are immortals anyway!)

Awesome service from Tamico as ever, ordered Monday morning arrived Wednesday lunch time. Germany to UK in just over 48 hours! Local post takes longer than that 😏..

Looking forward to this, first "crawler" I've had.

The new gearbox for the DT-03, from tonystamiyaparts !

Now I can repair the Neo Fighter, I think I'll strip it down completely as its already in pieces and rebuild it with the original silvercan and new bearings. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right... ^_^

A Super Hotshot that I'm going to clean up to be a Christmas present for one of my boys. It looks to be in decent shape apart from the bumper and a couple of corroded hinge pins. I'll strip it down, clean it up and rebuild it with new parts and bearings where needed.

As well as the standard gold wheels it also came with a set of Vanquish wheels - I'm having those :D

On the topic of wheels, I also get a set of really good condition Juggernaut wheels and tyres. They'll probably end up on my TXT-2.

Another haul, now I have everything I need to build a proper TXT2. Thinking the ProLine Hilux shell. I'd like to find a Kingcab shell on one to see if it would look right before I commit. Otherwise some Bigfoot 18 decals instead of the boxart short-course scheme.

Some amazing finds this week - Hi-Lux Monster Racer body set, 911 GT2 limited show special body with the lower PIAA wing, and incredibly two pairs of 50370 King Cab / Racing Monster Spike Tyres:

Also Focus 2002 body set, Xsara body, Celica wheels, KC wheels and roll bar (came with the tyres).

This is up there with my greatest ever finds. Absolutely perfect condition, they look like I just picked them up from the LHS in 1990. I've only ever seen these for sale once before, they were new but in opened packaging and were $99 for each pair, so $198 for the set. These were much more reasonable.

Way too small (even though both are supposed to be 1/10):
