Some amazing finds this week - Hi-Lux Monster Racer body set, 911 GT2 limited show special body with the lower PIAA wing, and incredibly two pairs of 50370 King Cab / Racing Monster Spike Tyres:

Also Focus 2002 body set, Xsara body, Celica wheels, KC wheels and roll bar (came with the tyres).

This is up there with my greatest ever finds. Absolutely perfect condition, they look like I just picked them up from the LHS in 1990. I've only ever seen these for sale once before, they were new but in opened packaging and were $99 for each pair, so $198 for the set. These were much more reasonable.

Way too small (even though both are supposed to be 1/10):

TN, thanks for posting. You're right that is way too small. Too bad really as I really like the king cab/ hilux monster racers. Would look even more "off" with the TXT-1 wheels and tires.

They look half decent, what are you going to use them on and where did you get them?

@Fabia130vRS mentioned something about 55mm shocks, and I thought I'd give them a try.  They are pretty good Mr. Fabia!  Machine oil on e-clips should be wiped clean.  Apparently, machine oil should not be mixed with silicone oil!

I must admit, after the first run I had some oils on top of the shocks, but could be just extra oil that was added dripping around. Waiting for your own imprint of their behaviour.

A used TL01 on road chassis from @Badcrumble... although it might turn into a rally chassis haven't decided..... it'll need a quick strip and clean but I think I can handle it time wise. It came with a very handy basher Enzo shell and a much nicer Xanavi shell with matching wheels... very happy.

Yay, my bearing set for the High-Lift arrived from Stella today so I can start building that tonight.

And my 1:10 Vaillant Porsche decal set from Tamico also arrived so that means I've got Taisan, Jagermeister and Vaillant decals and a couple of spare body sets. I can see a TA02SW project starting soon (after I finish the Hilux).

Nice! So are you going full carbon chassis on your FF03?

Nearly summer painting season so I've started getting ready.  Just a couple of bodies to do this year, or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Bit behind with everything at the mo, but over the last couple of weeks these bits have been turning up mostly for my Sand Scorcher-

Nicely painted ReRe Shell, saves me a lot of time and effort!

Vintage Rough Rider wheels and JR tyres- not sure yet why I bought them.

Charger from  Kev The Rev for my 3 Speeds. Thank you Kev.

Charger for my SRB Ranger and M38 Wild Willy.

Vintage NOS Super Champ steering rods to upgrade my Sand Scorcher, particularly pleased with these.

Odds and sods that came with the shell, bonus parts 👍

Just received my flat bed trailer on back order for a month. I presume this model is very popular and affordable compared to the closed trailers. I will build the trailer before starting my Grand Hauler Peterbuilt black matte edition.

M05 and CC01 ball bearing sets, mini wheels, and I got for free something called a fixate gel pad.  No clue what it is or does.

I got this gel pad also last week. I left it in its packing, it is sticky as ... dont want to get dust on in. Haha I also have 3 of the 16th anniversary pads

A slightly used Rising Fighter to replace the Neo Fighter.

Overall condition is ok. Needs ball bearings, electronics, and new rear tires.

I'm going to strip all those from the Neo Fighter. Even the CVA's from the Neo, which are only slightly too long, can be adapted for this one by adding a small spacer inside the shock.

Based on my experience with my kids Fighter I can highly recommend the AMPRO Engineering rear shock mounts and transmission brace. Also the lightest oil possible in your oil shocks (10wt is good). If you are interested in the front end and have a DT03 to pillage parts from might I humbly suggest my double wishbone front suspension conversion using DT03 parts?

That really looks great! Absolutely something to keep in mind!

Some from my LHS, some from the postman:

Stuff I need to try out carpet racing this weekend for the first time which I'm extremely nervous about doing.   Trying to get out of my introverted comfort zone.

Looks like a good haul! Sure you'll have a great time - minis on carpet are a blast!
