i'll miss those days(picking it up my self) our Hobby Town closed a few months ago, we have a few very small hobby places, but it's been internet sales 99.9% of the time. and i do not think you were cheating. Just Trains well for trains and scratch build materials , BBY for boats , Berkeley ACE for slot cars, and Hobby Lobby  and Wally World in a pinch for paints, brushes and such. Couple of outstanding bits from China and shocks from Hobbyking. Couple of quid each in the sale. Bit long to be useful but cheap is cheap :D

3 new servos from Hobby King and a servo tester.

That’s everything in stock now to put the Lunchbox back together.

Just waiting on the new servo saver for the Sand Scorcher now.

Somewhere in there is a GF01! Being in the possession of 5 (or 6) WR02 variants I decided to take the plunge and try the 4WD for a project that will either be quite fun, or utterly catastrophic!

The Tamico paint suppies, 17x2 motor and various.

And also the TA-01 full plastic gearset to put into the balazing star buggy.

First thing it says on the TA-01 gears manual: 'Not compatible with 1/10 off-road buggies.'!:lol:

A big shout out to @Kingfisher; he sent me a gift of a Sabulatech BL2074 Porsche 935-78 Long Tail Moby Dick clear body!

This body is pretty sweet!  It takes me back to my childhood when I did a static model of the same car in the early 80s.  Thanks, Kingfisher!

Wow, wish someone made one of those in 1/10 scale to fit a 257mm chassis.

Just a receiver today, but it was almost a receiver and a TXT-2 Agrios.  It absolutely murdered me to pass on the Agrios.  It sold at auction for about two thirds the usual full price with only a bit of damage to the box.  At least the receiver was under half price.

Don't look at Tamico today then, they have the TXT-2 Agrios on for €277.77 as their daily special!

Have you looked at Tamico's offer today?

Thanks for the heads up but, unfortunately, living on the other side of the world means shipping kills the value of most Tamico sales.  The one here went for about the equivalent of €220.  An absolute steal.

Thanks for letting me know but getting it here would cost too much.  Oh well, time to save up and get one sometime in the future.
