The first couple of bits for my Hotshot 2 restoration arrived today. An arial, some sponge tape and a tool bag (gave mine away many many years ago).

Decals from Japan!

Blockhead Motors shipment

That's super nice. I love their products, they look simply fantastic. I would love to use some of that on some custom vehicle someday.

Cheers! I agree! Their designs really enhance the classic Tamiya off-road cars.

I'm hoping my Clod build will fit in with their ethos ;) Build thread to follow - Stay tuned!

The postman was kind enough to deliver some metal B11 parts for the CLOD!

I'm super excited! I've wanted one of these since they've come out, and finally got one. I bought the cage as well. Kyosho America has a really good deal on these now.

Second of three parts for my Kyosho DRX.

Also need another tube of shoe goo, as the body pretty much shattered, but LHS has the Tamiya equivalent, polycarbonate body reinforcement. Wondering if any of you lot have tried this?

I've wanted one too.  That is a good price.  Dang...

C parts tree for my Hotshot 2, along with a water pump gasket and engine core plugs for my other project in the garage (a 1971 MGB GT)!

Hmm... wonder if I can find a servo to fit that :D

Very nice! Was never a specific fan of the clodbuster simply because I had one and because of the size of it I was forever moving it out of the way and I got tired of it!, Why can't tamiya do all the black edition boxes like this one the monster beetle just got a little sticker on the front and sides?

My son was always after the Death Star, but he did get the Imperial Star Destroyer one Christmas, kept him busy for weeks ;)

Last night a neighbour knocked on my door. She brought a package they had received on Sunday - my replacement M05 chassis.

Simba / Dickie (Tamico’s supplier) had sent it to my home address without informing me and the courier hadn’t left a note to say that it had been delivered there so I was unaware it had been waiting for me.

Great to have it so I can re-start my M05-RA build - hopefully on Friday when I get back from a work trip.

Fantastic kit. We’ve got one for my son to build in a few years - once he’s old enough to see the original trilogy! He’s capable of building it now - just lacks focus to see it through to the end!
