My first radio set in about 20 years. It's not much and it's cheap. However, it will get me moving for now.

Now just waiting for the car I want to come in stock and a diff gear for my nitro.

*twiddles thumbs*

Great choice, cheap, robust and reliable.

I’m pretty sure you can bind 2 r/x to this model as well,

It certainly feels cheap.. But, as long as it get me bashing about for now.. I'm happy...who knows where this leads  - _-  ...

Not the postman but perseverance and good fortune bought this 1/2 a (hardened) drive cup back in to my possession. It fell out whilst driving about in the local car park. The Heavy Dump Truck has CVDs all round after losing a dog bone last time! 3mm lock nuts now fitted.

Feels as good as getting stuff though the post!

Some damper bodies and V-parts from a FaceBook sale:

Looked at the image carefully and decided they were the damper bodies from 53280. I only ordered 8 (2 sets) and the others all sold pretty quickly.

A bit of a bargain but I now need to order:
Piston guides
Piston Rods
Damper Seals
Springs

So it will work out much cheaper than a set of NIP 53280 TA03 Super Low Friction Dampers but it won't be 'cheap-cheap'!

Does anyone know what size springs I'd need?

I'm thinking 53163 On Road Tuned Spring Set? Can anyone confirm?

Amazon bites again

These Stanley Sortmaster stacking storage boxes are brilliant for RC stuff and keeping organised.

I already had 3 so this one can stack with the others

Or can it?

...Oh ****. Always read the dimensions and check. At £7 delivered I'm not going to bother returning / replacing it. I'm just not looking forward to my wife coming home to laugh at me now
