4 Avante 2001 rims with rather old and worn Schumacher treaded tyres

3 Kyosho (?) rims, currently sat in oven cleaner to strip off the pink paint !

and what i bought them for, the 2 Vanquish rims

Postie has been good to me this week, first I had a bunch of Astute parts arrive still waiting on a few more bits & peices.

Then I had this arrive yesterday

I plan on restoring this Fox back to box art so the body & painted parts will have to be replaced, the body has been painted inside & outside & the wing has been glued on.

I've yet to strip it down so I don't know else needs replaced but arms & chassis look good.

First thing I did when it arrived was dig out & charge an old Ni-Cd batt & took it for a test run in the backyard, everything worked sweet.

Battery only lasted about 2mins though I remember as a kid having to wait for 14 hours for my Ni-Cd's to charge & those couple of mins fun where worth the wait

With Li-Po these days I get 2 or 3 20min runs off a single charge

Postman brought me... a FAKE 5300mah 7.2v Ni-MH battery.

I knew I was taking a risk by buying a 15 dollar batter from a Chinese seller on ebay, and I lost the bet on that one.

I will be getting a refund shortly.

Seller goes by the account "ebatteryoutlet", "cutielands", among many others.

I was encouraged by all the great and extremely cheap (ex, 6 dollar receivers) electronics I had been getting from China, so I thought why not.

I won't be losing a single dime.

Sorry about that. I stick with HK or other reputable Asian sellers for "cheap" lipos.
