Lucky lucky man. Went for a wander along the canal with the dog earlier and one of the boats had his log burner going. The smell was fantastic

Most of this is ash that was cut about 18 months ago and has been drying in barns ever since. From an 100 acre wood only 4 miles from where I live.

Just some of the paints required to make a start on the Fat Fox... these took nearly 2 months to arrive! Missed the good weather by several weeks... :(

A bunch of stuff for the M06.  The rally tyres and C-parts are for the Escort rally conversion in the future.  I picked up a set of TT02 Super Mini CVA dampers because they were cheap, available locally and I think they'll hold up to rallying better than the expensive 54000 aluminium shocks.  The ball head suspension rod isn't the titanium coated one but it was cheap so I'll see how it goes.

My postie brought me a box from l&l models which was a mk1 escort body, then DPD turned up with a box from motorsport with 2 servos 2 hobbywing 1060 speed controllers and a 2s Lipo, now I just need to get a tt02 chassis to build a mk1 escort rally car

Some TT-02 Hop-ups for a chassis build I'm calling the TT-0TwoMuch due to having every expensive blue alu Hop-up. Not so expensive when from RCMart like this lot though. Intercooler from eBay.

Bargain paints from an offer at Euro Car Parts - £3.04 per can! Click and collect so no courier charges either. You can determine the age of the can by how easily the Hobby Company warning label peels off - the older the can the worse it sticks to the plastic (see top left).

Pandora light stickers and MST wheels and nuts from Drifted.nl, Tamiya cables from eBay.

My £39 toy arrived!!

Honestly don't know why I bought this but it's great. I hadn't put the accessories on by this point, just threw the batteries in and drove it around.

Kids are particularly taken with it, loading toys into the bed then letting me deliver them between the kitchen and living room

Highly recommended.

Every time I see one of these, I wonder how I still have resisted getting one. Some upcoming birthday money might change that though :p

You've just reminded me, I need to buy M05 F parts, as both my c hubs are split. 👍

Speaking of the M05, this turned up finally, nearly 2 months, won't bother choosing SF-Express as a shipping option next time.

I was going to buy some M05RA F parts for later as well.  That got me thinking "Do I need a FWD mini rally CRX as well?" so I didn't buy them before things start spiraling out of control.
