Cheated again by collecting in person as the seller was local, chassis in good condition, complete with 27mh radio gear, battery, original box and instructions - £29. Gotta love eBay sometimes!

You'll notice that box is still in the car luggage area !

Awaiting the window of opportunity to move to alternative location (RC shed!)

Todays arrival, wife safe, was a 7" high action figure - plan was for the Bruiser, but unless he lose 100 pounds he has no chance of his arms reaching a snall steering wheel !

Oh well, far from the worst 99p buy i've made !

nothing as exciting as Percymon's (and no pics either!) but in the past week i've got a set of shiney chrome NDF-01T Nitro Crusher wheels from Fusion Hobbies, 8 tyres to go with them from Tony @ europro95 on eBay (cheers again!) and a 40mhz Acoms handset, receiver and crystals for my TT-01E. Just waiting on my 2.4Ghz Acoms set-up to come through now and i'll be like a pig in poo

Well, it's maybe not as thrilling as a Bruiser (and it's certainly a much smaller box), but I received a NIB kit today...

Only 4 business days to the west coast of the US! Thanks, Kamtec!

Nice kit , I had an 80's mardave do they still make them ?. I'm sure they are out there to get on of them .

So is it going to be NIB or are you going to build it ?. What does it look like in the box , with chassis etc .

Thanks .

Yep, still made, brand new, ordered it from Kamtec. I'm going to build it and run it, just for fun. It came with a Peugeot 205 T16 body, which I'll either do in the Shell racing livery (white with blue/black/yellow stripes), or in the homologated street-legal version (metallic gray with red pinstripes). I'll have more photos later.

This mornings arrivals.

Picture12112007.jpg

painted drift car body complete with spoilers, mirrors and light housings - the wheelarches are even precut so nothing to do bar mount it - woohoo

1 set sparking drift tyres

1 set Advan drift tyres (solid as a rock !!)

1 set austrax street tyres and foams

1 R2hobbies light set

This lot will complete my TA01 project - i'll see how the light set performs and then hopefully order another couple, one for the Bruiser and the other for future projects.

£30 for the lot delivered - Bargain !! ;):)

This was a huge exception to the rules. I looked at it in person and knew it was sealed and never dropped, picked up bearings and paint at the same time and not a word about paypal. It's the first time in at least 10 years to even have those options. The model is cool but getting to hold it in my hands in a store was something I really miss. Yes that's green paint, I decided not to go with a pink car. I've done spots and bug antennas this month so there has to be a return to a guys car.

Oh, and it arrived in perfect shape.
