Not the postman but a friend. Got to get these delivered to him in Portsmouth and him bringing them to Orkney, so these batteries had literally travelled the entire country.

Team Associated RC10 GT. From a charity auction. It was listed as “remote control car, Brand unknown “

The OS Max CV-R installed was seized up , but after flushing the tank and some marvel mystery oil/ automatic transmission fluid run through I was able to get it turn over . Some more cleaning later and the OS fired up and idles.

I still want to go through the trans and inspect the bearings and ball diff.
And I also have the original AE .15 engine included. It was also seized but now it’s free.

Built my first big bore aeration shocks the other day and I must say I like them a lot. So much that I ordered another set. Also managed to find some TRF box wrenches.

Had them on my DB01R and got to say they were a nice jump from the standard TRF Aeration shocks 👍

My R31 buggy tyres and rims arrived at last. They have been sitting at my local sorting office for four weeks (just 5km away) 😮

I had planned to put them on my GF01 LandCruiser but will also see how they look with the Jimny when it’s done.

Received a couple of cheap 1060 type brushed ESC's.  It seems a lot of people are having problems with Hobbywing and TBLE-02S ESC at the moment (me included)  I've got about 5 of these running in cars and they perform well (the brakes are a bit brutal) with no thermalling or anything.  They are also about half the price of the HW1060 too, so sharing the link in case it helps anyone.  They are from Surpass which I've found to be really good, they make some brilliant brushless motors which keep up with the best from other brands for about 60% of the price.

I'm still looking for the M & L JIS and the hex wrenches but not been able to find those anywhere yet.

Thanks. I wish Tamiya would do another run of them.

Yeah totally. You even see them using them in the videos they produce just rubbing our faces in it!

That's what got me searching for them, but I suspect I'm very late to the party.

All we all really need now is a TD4!!!!!!

Better to get the hop ups first though I reckon, then having the kit without. I'd have been so tempted to build it only to take it apart a few weeks after!
