Postman brought me a squashed & opened Bigwig mini 4wd... not quite the pairing I was hoping for to match up with the sealed Bigwig rere I stumbled onto a while back...

Sorry to see, @bRIBEGuy.   :(   This looks like the Totoro gift I bought for my wife the other week.  Amazon placed a similar full color print box in their thin Amazon bag with no protection, had someone sit on it and maybe do some jumping jacks on it prior to delivery.  In the same delivery, Amazon placed some cheap shower curtain (for my kids' bathroom) well packaged in a box complete with bubble wrap and all.

With both packages in hand, first word that came out of my mouth was "WHY?"   okay maybe 2nd word following profanity..

I got this delivery today!!

 Amazon states "Delivered" but nothing arrived..    Amazon's robot told me to wait until Monday because the system won't allow any refunds so I chatted with the customer rep and she gave me back my money.   Per my security camera feed, the driver was clearly on the phone while making the delivery having some dynamic conversation with someone over the call..  He had 3 boxes in his hands and dropped off only 2, left.. then he realized he had forgotten to drop the 3rd one at the edge of my driveway... stood there for a second, then returned to his van with the package and drove off.  WHAT?!

Come on. Give us a hint or two... ;)

That's already a decent hint. More parts arriving over the next few days, though not as much as @Kol__ would like. First step is to make a runner. Then take out some of the slop. Then fail at trying to avoid unnecessary bling.

We'll see @naturbo2000, we'll see...

Look forward to seeing your build thread pop up, not so much looking forward to the holes that might start appearing in your wallet:ph34r:

Already started. I needed a counter gear. I have purchased a counter gear

with an upgrade.

Awesome and awesome, top quality upgrades there @naturbo2000!! Now you have to start a build thread in the builds section;)

Also, you can get a copy of the polycarbonate gearbox cover from UK based Revive RC on eBay (and FB). I picked one up for my mongrel and it is a very good copy, not exact, but very good and perfectly suitable. You can also get one from TBG in Canada, but I can't vouch for the quality there as never seen one. Oh and you'll need the black plastic cap for the cover, comes on two of the Super Astute rere parts trees.

Yep. Just read your build thread :D.

I think I've got most of what I need for my build just now, except for a job lot of new screws and shims, but I have that in hand. Will probably pick up some wheels and tyres from jcracing.

Mine already has turnbuckles I added back in the day (rear currently fitted, fronts attached to a dead Optima steering assembly). I'll butcher that all into better steering for this build whilst currently pretending I'm not going to turn it into a Super Astute.

According to the tracking, the ESC for the Marui Samurai should arrive today.

But it also says the box it comes in is 3x15x20 inch, weight almost 1kg...

So I'm quite curious what is in this monster box??

Everything that has arrived over the last few weeks to get my Rover SD1 build done. Apart from the shell, wheels, chassis and TLU 01, most of it arrived today.

Well the tracking data was off, as the big box did not arrive (didn't expect it too haha).

But is was 2 bubble envelopes with the Marui Samurai's ESC and 2 pinions that I intend to use for the tank chassis.
I also already got geared motors, and if my calculations are correct this tank chassis will move at a lightning earth-shattering speed of: 0.13meter/second -> 0.45km/h.
