pinion and tires on the way, i have some df03 springs left over from another kit so ill fit those for starters , before i get the alu after market ones and turnbuckles. Thanks again for the advice.

gave it a clean and now a nice little runner

So, what did the postman bring you today ?

The last few days has seen various small packages of parts (servo saver,hicap springs, pinion gear, screws etc) arrive and installed on a Avante 2001 project built up from parts sales on eBay.

I had a few parts for my High lift arrive this week.

But one of the sellers (Ebay shop Tulare hobbies) sent me the wrong size tyres he sent me 1.55's instead of 1.9's.

But after I sent him a message he apologized said he would send me the 1.9's & I could keep the 1.55's for free

I then received another email from him with a tracking number for my replacement tyres, problem sorted in less then 24 hours.

I wish all online shops were this good, although now I have to order some 1.55 rims

excellent , i love mine , if you plan to run a lot look into replacing the battery for lipo. easy job , and it already has a low voltage alarm.

I got a nice little box of goodies for my rusty Clod Buster project from RPP Hobby: metal parts, hardware, and ball bearings.

By the way, I placed this order on Friday... love these guys!

Picked this up for cheap. It's an old Kyosho Minitz/Stepside chassis. Missing a good bit of parts, but looks like it's never been used! I'll either source the parts for it, or trade it off for something else I don't need
