Handy bits for the TB-Evo III bits-a-build project :)

A build manual (essential), period correct blue dampers (very nice to have and will go well with the 'Blue Conversion Kit') and a vintage cockpit specifically for the AMG 190E

This is going to wear a 1992 Zakspeed 190E EvoII 'Diebels Alt' shell, because.....well, Evo innit? So the cockpit was a cool find B)

Yeah wish I was 1/10th myself. maybe they are testing the waters with it before doing a full 1/10th run. Fingers crossed.

Some more TA03 goodies...

The Stabiliser Stoppers were a great find, and the low body posts look interesting, I'm kind of hoping they're going to work with a planned 911 GT1 Le Mans '96

My last delivery from Japan for a wee while, and it's a good 'un too :)

Rims, a Group C cockpit and some TA05 stabilisers

I've been looking for the 50770 rims to go with my 306 Maxi shell for ages, and the Celica rims will come in handy for something. The S800s will be handy spares for that build. The pink and orange med/narrows....not sure yet, but they look ace!

The Group C cockpit will go in my new MB C11 when it gets built, and the Milky Blue stabilisers will go in my Gulf Porsche 934 30th Anniversary...again, been looking for these for months.

Read the text on the new kit box. Supposedly Losi has sworn they’ll never rere any previous 1/10.

You have done most other builds but not a TA05...are you planning a build thread?

I kind of have done one...the 49400 30th Anniversary 934, which is a variant of the TA05

But you're right, I haven't got a standard TA05. I haven't actually seen one available for a while, even the V2s with the weird body shells seem to have disappeared from Tamico now. I quite fancy the IFS as a build, if I ever see one

Since when has not being able to find a kit stopped you?

Thanks to @bRIBEGuy, I bought these Tamiya triangle swabs for when I need to fix paint bleeds.

I placed a ruler to show how fine they are.. Item87105

A Racing Special instruction manual courtesy of Sven and another set of mirrors for a Nissan Skyline bodyshell after I accidently washed one down the sink last weekend.

Good to see - I’ve been following your build, and strangely enough, I have the same thing in the pipeline as I have the NIB kit plus all period hop-ups, but no original manual!

I’ve not posted in quite a while, but it’s been good to see the TA02 and TA03 resurgence in the builds section. Life has taken me away from RC for a while though I’ve still been browsing the forum on occasions, and picking up a few parts here and there when I’ve chanced upon some interesting items, mostly at reasonable prices. I take the view that if I see something that ‘might’ come in handy at some point in the future and the price is good, I should buy as my interest is mostly older stuff. Here’s what I’ve gathered recently, mostly from yahoo.jp (where I’ve really noticed prices are now getting mostly just a bit high, and much less available on the vintage side), and other bits and pieces from private deals and from eBay. Some rare F201 parts Pretty rare as the blue alu parts were only sold as part of 49336 F201 Tuned Chassis Kit), a couple of oldish motors, a FS-12R engine for my TG10R project, some TA03 and TA04 parts, and the Tech Racing part is a TA02 stabiliser Set 😊

Got loads of wheels from JC for the yet to build TD and the Turbo Optima /Optima Mid that I do not own (yet). I also got a package from Tamico with loads of suspension shafts, Xtra speed A5-part and a Terra Scorcher body for the TD.

Parts trickled in over the last few months, Durga just arrived. Am I noticing a Durga resurgence here lately,  @Kol__ @Jonathon Gillham @Mechanic AH ?? 😉

Awesome selection of hopups bud!B)

Where did you source them from? I got some bits from PJ, but not things like the WO UJ's and motor mount etc.

Local find... steal of a deal (less than 1/2 the price of a kit).  Chassis and tires are mint.  Body is very good, though stickers are put on terribly.

I definitely did not need another Clod... but here we go again!

Looks great mate!! Sounds like it would've been just plain wrong not to take up the deal. Did it come in a free bin?

Im not too sure! Its not a screw together plastic one but there is some sort of plug in the bottom but appears covered in paint. Excuse the dust and cobwebs

I can already sense that im going to break something if i attempt this.......

Sounds like you've ordered replacement mirrors bud, but it looks like there's a drain plug in the bottom of the U-bend, can you give that a twist with a bucket underneath and see what comes out?🤮
