2 x Astute bodies, undercowls and wings from ***** (pity I can't find good repro decals anymore).

Hey seeing that you started this thread, prompted me to look at page 1. for the first time. WOW. I can't believe your first post and then later djmcnz had that awesome Egress haul. Great stuff.

I'd line up the ***** undercowl with a chassis plate before you start trimming, the one they sent me had shrunk and the holes where out big time

My Astute one was fine, as was the Egress one; but the Avante 2001 one was a good 3-4mm short in the main section and wasn't a great fit.

Just arrived at 1700 ! Modelsport RV-12 Assault . Going to use this in the 4x4x4 Blackfoot . Best of both worlds - lipo compatable and brushed 55t crawler motors so i should get reasonable run times

Same sorta discrepancy, this with it bolted at the back, follows the chassis perfectly then doesn't tally up.

Well even though I'm still away on holiday I've managed to have a traxxas 380 motor and some hex drivers delivered to the hotel, and collect a kyosho sand master kit from modelsport. I should have a set of tlt wheels on the office desk too, and a twin detonator is on it's way too!!

"mr.retreader" sent me a metal chassis plate for my Buggy Champ today. The rest of the day was spent in a Herculean struggle to undo the stripped screws to separate the gearbox and radio box from the chassis...

Edit: Finished the installation-

The previous chassis plates...

... gave way to this...

... and now the car's stiffness approaches that of my Avante. Should be fun to drive it again, though my batteries need conditioning. Instead of the whole front half of the chassis flexing on impact, only the bumper does like it should!

my friendly parcel delivery dude just dropped of my marui samuri .. been chasing one for a while now , but thanks to tc member '' onetenth '', i now have one .. its in great nik and rtr if i wanted to , but she will be a shelf mate for my hunter , galaxy, cj7 jeep and the big bear .. new body and decals are on their way .. w00t

I truely expected it to go for more than the bid I put down which was half of what was paid out for the car and spares. That's eBay for you, I lost out big time on some 1:1car stuff I sold earlier in the year so it kinda balances itself out

Twin Detonator turned up (finally ) at the office. Courier company decided to change the delivery address to somewhere else 300yards away - no wonder it took them 6 attempts !!
