The "Postman Brought Me" Thread

Recommended Posts

I’m really very excited about this. I’ve been going back and forth on ordering one for the last few months.

A few bits and bobs from Plaza Japan...the usual clamp hexes, ball connectors and HT servo savers along with some new parts for my TRF415MSX restoration and this body parts set which I hadn't seen before and thought was worth a look

But my favourite thing was the little good luck charm...

This arrived about an hour after we put in an offer on a new house, so I'm taking it as a sign 🤞

Just a few ( ;) ) batteries for my “assortment” of RC cars. Couldn’t resist to purchase the last few Floureons on the market. :)

So its arrived. Only posted yesterday Royal Mail 48 hours and arrived in less than 24! New (to me) TB Evo 6 MS.

Comes with 14 spare wheels and tyres, including 6 new foams and 6 new road tyres. It has Exotek uprights installed, but a complete set of new Tamiya TRF 418 uprights also in the box, spare TB03 spur gear and a stabiliser set (plus other odds and sods).

Seller also chucked in this motor, R1 Works v16 13.5t, which I'll give a go. Can't seem to find any info about this specific variant (i think they're on v21 now). I'm assuming any decent brushless ESC will work with it (all my other cars are brushed).

Needs a bit of a clean, got some TRF shocks on the way to replace the CVAs. Now I just need to figure out what I'm actually going to do with it! Ah eBay.

The latest delivery of interesting items from Japan

Egress stickers because, when I come to build my Black Edition I'm going to do it in 'standard' Egress style

Nice set of two part mesh wheels, a battery plate for my next TA03 build and a motor mount for my F103

But the happiest find was that DF03 prop shaft. I found almost all the Tamiya Hop Up parts for my DF03 but had to use a 3-Racing prop shaft...not any more 😀

Oh wow! Please share those if you have’t so. Really interested in those (hehe)

I would post more pictures but I am basically out of attachment space.

I will post more on IG when I pull them out for some driving.  :D

Delivery from Japan. Lots of bits for the XV-01, some springs for the various buggies and, rather stupidly, two rear suspension mounts for the TD2… whoops 😬

Any F104 project on-going? These 2 above are really the F104 essentials!

I need to stop buying cheap bargains

last month I bought a Yokomo BD7 2015 roller chassis for 95€ in great condition.

this month I found this gem for 130€ shipped. Yokomo BD7 2014 Arrived today. I think this is a good deal compared to how much stuff I got here -_- I don’t even race 😅

So not the Postman but my local hobby shop, still counts right?

Got a couple of cheap 15t motors, these are 550 size but will work fine in a touring car for my basic builds. Beats £25 for a Tamiya Sport Tuned anyways!

And a low profile servo and some magnetic body mounts.

Oh man I'm jealous of those stickers!  They seem oddly hard to find!

My first order from RCJaz, quite impressed by how quickly it arrived. Mostly bits for the Kyosho HOR.
