The postman brought me a COD charge close to $50 for a package that I was supposed to sign off on, except being on a university residence that is somewhat impossible... So no package; just bills.

That was supposed to be my Astute, too!

Today a Racing Rear Wing Set (A) and Wide Spike Tires arrived in the mail; would have posted a picture but somehow the forum is not letting me.

Tomorrow I pick up my Astute from the postal distribution centre...

I saw this on a local auction site and had to have it as I just love the look of this Porsche and it is a unique Tamiya chassis. This one is a shelf queen for me and this particular body is finished to stunning quality. It's one beast I'd hate to put the decals on!

And at the same time a NIB original Dyna Storm and NIB Acto Power motor that I picked up on eBay. Not a bad deal I thought and both items are in mint condition. Now I have a set - a perfect shelf queen Dyna Storm (with an OEM carbon chassis) and a NIB original to go with it.

And although they don't come up often at all I've now picked up two NIB pink Acto-Power motors in the last month... don't need them both so I need to do some sort of trade for a Dynatech 02H which I'm short one of.

Happy, happy. And a credit to the respective sellers, both a pleasure to do business with.

This one I had to pick up... But my Astute finally came home! Many thanks to GTodd for helping me step into the world of The First 100!

I was so excited I put this in the "The Postman Brought Me" thread, with a picture, and then in my showroom...

Funny how you just posted that Taisan GT2 like it was an easy ebay find... That thing is a GEM! WOW~!

Yes, it is a gem - sitting in my living room now looking quite handsome. As it turns out it was the first time I'd ever used the site (which is massively popular here in Holland) and I saw it whilst simply 'thumbing' through the pages. The current bid was €125 and I offered more, the seller was online, accepted immediately and shipped the next day. Pleasant chap too. I'm going to strip it down and rebuild it this weekend just for fun and to see what's inside - it's ages since I've done that to a TA02 but they're nice and simple so won't take too long.

I actually just ordered a set today for my Astute!

Never ran Yokomo RPS SE

Not cheap but well worth the price.

I have lusted after this car since it was new.

Happy Guy here!

A mate of mine got me into RC cars just recently, so I'm still learning a lot.

I do know what I like when I see it though, and that looks like a real nice buggy scootmike. :)
