Marvellous thanks. Do you know the length of yours? (so to speak 😬)

LOL!

Mine were used to make some Franken-shocks for the TC-01, and as such needed longer TC-01 shock shafts and extenders.... so not even remotely applicable for what you are doing unfortunately.

So to answer.. impressively long... LOL.

Non-Tamiya parts today. Extra wing and aluminum hopups for my DBXL-E. Can’t believe these shipped for free to the Philippines from Amazon US. I wish they carried more Tamiya parts!

Some more parts for my Turbo Optima Mid re-re build today.  The first batch kit should arrive later this week, and the last few Option House parts next month.  The car will probably get built later this year, or even next year, as I have a queue!  Mind you, that leaves plenty of time for Plaza Japan to get the UJs back in stock for both this and my Ultima build.  I just can't stomach paying £40+ for each pair here in the UK  :(

Huge thanks to @Frog Jumper for his assistance in obtaining some rare DF02 upgrades which were discounted on TamiyaUSA. I got caught by customs (again) which makes it 2 times in the space of a month :( but at least it's arrived and I can continue with my project now.

I think I need to label your boxes "Happy Birthday Little Chris!  Your Fat American Uncle Terry!"

Big box from everyone's favourite Tamiya source in Japan...

Finally; a little toy truck eraser!

resize_PXL_20230316_135802920.thumb.jpg.ec73490917cb977dcf7be7722258c3a1.jpg

Quickly took this picture and proceeded to try and hide as much of it as possible before my wife got home from work.

TL-01 chassis because I'm indecisive and can't bring myself to open the lightweight chassis Hop-Up.

Bubble Tyres cos I liked the look of 'em

Various rims and tyres and other Hop Ups.

Buggy Aeration Dampers for full-on overkill...

That doesn't look right?!

They've been rattled around in there. Fortunately it looks like everything is present, but they've had quite a journey! The box lid was slightly ajar too which had me worried.

Can someone enlighten me as to the difference between oil filled shocks and "aeration" oil filled shocks?   When I build a shock, I try my best to get rid of all the air.   How does this added aeration make them perform better (other than them being blue....:D  ).

I put a set on my DT-03 at the weekend and honestly… I have no idea 😆

They feel really smooth and don’t have any non spring rebound (there’s probably a proper term for that) so I hope that’s right.

For me, one of the 2 cars I am getting today to complete my version Legendary series for these classics.

(I'll probably end up getting a Tomahwk too, but that is another story for another day..)

I also got receivers for them today, but due to attachment memory limit on TC, I will not post as it's a boring picture anyway.  Please check out IG #pretendrcshop if interested..as I post alot more photos there..

So I am lazy with photos but I just got a M08, a Sanwa MT-R, a Tamiya TBLE-04S, a FL Tuned 30T and a pair of lightweight freewheel front axles. The box with the tools, lube and tires comes in today. Pretty stoked, haven't had a car is about 8 years, haven't had a Tamiya in about 20. I have no idea bout the motor and speed controller as to if they are any good or not, just threw them in the order to justify the shipping from Hong Kong. I don't plan on racing the car, just want a nice tunable chassis to run on the tennis courts at my apartment which is why I didn't up spec the electronics. Body remains undecided but I am considering the Karman, the Alpine or possibly the Fiat.

My first consignment of 3d prints. My M-08 body posts to rotate the clips 90° for better access and to avoid scratching my Dino shell, an XV-01 electronics box top that allows more height, DT-03 uprights, a variety of TT-02 bits n bobs (mainly budget rally build steering, which may not get used) and some tips for tamiya pliers that I had done in TPU and which will therefore be useless. Too soft, but at least now I have some TPU in my hands to know what I'm dealing with.

So some wastage, which is unfortunate, but good for the learning curve.
