The TB05R arrived, impressed with fedex, 5 days from Hong Kong. Now to build it and get the others ready for Sunday.  Its a shame work gets in the way of RC

I enjoyed building my 05 , looks a bit bulky but very stiff

Non-Tamiya today… WPL D12 Kei truck. What a fun little truck and at $37 ready to run with battery, it’s a bargain

Do you have the carbon chassis stiffeners? I'm trying to work out whether they are nevessary or not. They are on the TA07, but the TB05R comes with a stiffer chassis so maybe ok?

Yes I did fit them but it's seemed fairly rigid without

Hasn't the R version got reinforced plastics 🤔

Thanks thats good to know.  The TA07Pro is really flexible out of the box and has a range of carbon reinforced and carbon fibre stiffeners which is great for tuning, but then you buy heaps of different options and end up settling on one in the end.

The TB05R has a carbon reinforced chassis so should be much better out of the box, and especially if you say the TB05Pro is quite rigid already.  Those carbon fibre stiffeners are getting rare now so if I need them I'll grab them while I can, but if I don't need them then I'll save quite a bit of money

Tamiya Impreza 22B WRC body (1999) and L&L models Mini Clubman body which looks fantastic, I'll have to get some pictures. Looks incredibly similar to the Tamiya Mini Cooper body from the back, I suspect they "borrowed" that shell to take a mould. No idea what colour scheme I'll go for - in my head I just want something to use on the M03R but it's in such mint condition I'll probably bottle it and end up with one of the new MB01 chassis' instead!

Inspired by alvinwh my next build would be a Carten M210R. Two packets today. One with a gorgeous HPI 1973 Porsche 911 RSR which is going on top of the Carten. It was also and new YR Hackmoto 23T for the Lancia and the future build and decent diff oil for the Lancia.

At work a package of tires for the Carten and the M-05 Golf waited for me.

I got them from a local discount store (like a dollar store in the US). I love these because they foldable and stackable and saves a lot of space in my pit table. Can’t wait to hop up this Kei truck! Already added LEDs for the tail lights

RC-Bag. Tested My Biggest thing first (Extra Big with J-Concept Tires which was money well spent) , i needed to offer 3 department but other than that «like i Glooowe». When bringing normal size 1/10 Rally or Buggy i will have 3 more departments to stuff. One off my RC-Cars is going on Easter Vacation!:

I've had a lot more orders come in the last couple of days -  a bunch of small things like diff plates for the TRF102's and spur gears, through to a Dragon Force 65 v6 yacht.  The DF65 is apparently really popular around the world.  We tried some Volantex Compass yachts which broke pretty quickly, partly user error and partly just poor quality so this is attempt 2 at a relatively cheap but fun yacht to take to the beach down the road.  Need to get it ready for a holiday in a couple of weeks where we are staying by a lake.  That was booked by my wife, but surely its a sign that I need to take a toy boat along.  Unfortunately it requires the ability to tie really small knots, so it will probably never get finished.  As @Willy iine would say, wish me hope!

Team C Land Cruiser 80 series body and SkyRC T1000 Maestro charger. The body is not up to Tamiya standards but since I have the 1:1 I had to get one

The charger has a Lipo warning message each time it is powered on. NiMh fanboys will approve

They are great for the price! Here's mine, had a bit of a hard life though :)

Looking forward to see what you are going to do with it.
