Now as Ive said before, my Dads a comic collector, and he has always lived by one mantra when collecting. First just obtain the product you want. Regardless of condition. Just obtain it. You can still look for a better one, but first of all, get it. So. As we know Ive recently decided to relive my youth, and pick up the Tamiya's I wanted as kid. Combining this with Gran Turismo 3.  This isnt the rarest or most expensive on my list of JGTCs, the R34's take that award, but this is the one I wanted most. Ideally on a TA02W, but for now I have the worst condtion TL-01 TOMs Supra. Ive also already got a slightly better one on the way that I won last night 🙄 For now Ill make one up using the until I find a MINT TA02 58170 with the 3 piece wheels  

 

 

I also got a Manual for my TL-01 Focus. Cause I forgot I already had it....

 

 

There’s nothing quiet like original box art artwork. So tasteful and timeless. I wish I could say the same about current day releases 😅

Today I got a litteratur package  containing 9mm hexes and wide axles for the Golf MK1. Finally the rear wheels will move out where they belong. I also got a HT servo saver, so I can get rid of the sloppy kit part on the Terra Scorcher.

Postman brought 2 gas caps for the Jugger.

I also went to Action and found this little boat, thought it would be a fun thing as I set up the pool for the hot temperatures weekend.

But off course, one motor died after 30 seconds.... So that's going back to the store.

The on road kicks for the Mid arrived today and they look ace 😁👍not as stunning as the originals of course, but much better looks and quality than what it seemed by the picture.

Now I can finally put her through her paces in the Postal Racing...

received some parts yesterday. D-Like Toyota Soarer body,  Yokomo drift tires, Yokomo metal muffler tip, Demi Works overfender set and mini screws, Topline Watanabe wheels for M-chassis, some gold plugs for batteries, and white sponsor sticker sheets.

I should be getting my BH WO later today/tomorrow.. but this morning I got tires for my Kyosho Beetles, damper set I want to try on my outdoor Scorpion, bearing set & JX servo for my WildOne.

got two more deliveries.

first one contained MST coil springs, ball connectors, a spacer set, and Yokomo two spacer sets and one piston set.

second package had a HPI 1:10 Camaro Z28 1969 body, Tamiya tire foam, universal axle sets, short adjusters and a aluminium damper retainer set.

Will you be going box-art @Willy iine? I have one too but it took some time to arrive after launch and by then I was a bit overloaded with seeing so many on the internet and social media. So mine is still sat in the box. Not quite sure what I will do with it but I also have two old Wild Ones, a FAV and a whole load of spares, hop-ups and custom parts. One day…

You know, I sent a DM via IG to Waka (toshi wakabayashi) at BlockHead showing him I bought one.. I know I'm a dumb nobody, but thought maybe he would at least show some appreciation by sending a quick like or thumbs up or something.. but nothing.  

So perhaps I should build it box art, stomp on it, and have a proper American RC (TRX-4) squash it and post it up.

The postman/-person just dropped this lovely thing in my mailbox;a Carten m210r. The electronics and more Shimizu tyres are on their way as well. I expect this to be a competent postal racer.

 

It claerly is a kit. At least not less kit than let's say a Kyosho legendary series.

Another really early  eighties car, this time a Kyosho (/Graupner) Rallye sport Alpine A310...

The car is almost complete (missing rear springs) and the bodyshell and tires are in pretty good shape. I'm very happy with it. This is another project to be added to the existing pile of projects... I guess I won't start it that soon :-)
