Falling down into the dragontoothed Money Pit I survived (barely), coming back with a Torque Tuned 540, cooler and a set of CVA oil shocks. Since I realised I probably need to get a new ESC for the "cheap car" I bought, I fear I may have to go down again ... :D

This turned up today and had me grinning from ear to ear,

IMG_5413.md.jpg

I bought this for A$30 as a basher shell because the TT02R has had some glitches so this will be used for a while until I’m confident it’s running properly.

It came with light buckets and a choice of 2 rear spoilers as well, so naturally added some LED’s to the cart for another $12 😁. I just thought it was some random graphics but my daughter informs me the girl is a Voice Vocaloid (virtual singer) who is big in Japan. Really happy with it to be honest, and will be great for some Racing by Post.

Picked up this HPI Cup Racer Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 at the post office today. It's in overall good shape, came with a lot of parts and it was only 750NOK (equivalent to 55GBP).

Most of the M07 bits have arrived.  Still waiting on the titanium screw kit.

Many thanks to @Bash for the hookup for the Eagle parts.  He took a vacation in Japan and brought home a few things for me!  Awesome!

Nice. I'm planning to put a British Airways liveried Escort on my M08R. Even more so after watching some go round a little track yesterday.

Nice! Little thoughts of tyre-squealing counter-steering sidewaysiness like this are precisely why I put an Escort shell on my XV-01. It's just so right. I too have an escort shell for my M-08R, planning to go white with some blue to give myself a new masking/painting challenge, when I pluck up the courage. Now where can I get 1:10 scale straw bales?

BallBearings for the 540 motors, even in SuperStock its only metal bearing, not supringsingly a bearing uprade improve performance…

So even at the Birth off the rotation  magic inside the motor «they» use metal bearings

Big load today!

A bag of UNC allen screws for the Jugger's wheels. But none of my metric allen key wrences fit so need to find one that can...

The rest is a new heated printbed for my 3D printer.

I always had issues with the original printbed, because it was never level to begin with.
With these parts, an strong and flat aluminium base, magnetic build plate, thermal insulation blanket for the underside and leveling manual adjustment screws, I hope to finally give it a nice upgrade.

Also a nice thermocouple temperature sensor to check/calibrate the printer's heaters.

More upgrades are planned, but one at a time... as budget allows.

Bought this 1:8 chassis as it was only 10 bucks. This scale feels a lot stronger compared to a 1:10 car.

Might make a nice project someday...

I remember in the early 2000’s, as an electric 10th scale touring car racer, I got a 1:8th Nitro Buggy in a trade. I think it was a Thunder Tiger EB4. I remember being absolutely astounded by how much better quality and ‘denser’ it felt compared to everything else Id ever owned.

Over the moon as I really like tools!

Fantastic gift!  I these are the best hex drivers I've ever used.  I don't know why I bothered with anything else before.

Working on upgrading the Dyna Storm to a bit of a race spec machine at the moment, but not sure what's next. The DS is the first one I've done for myself in a long time, usually it's restoring to sell on that takes up my RC time.

Yes, you must get building again, that 1/10th garage of yours must be feeling a bit under used!😉😁

Nice. DynaStorm is probably my favourite Tamiya 2wd buggy. I've got a TD4 and a Dirt Master waiting to be built . And a BBX on pre order. Life has just been hectic and we've been on holiday for two weeks. I'll try to get back to it soon...
