Happy Birthday to me :)

Thanks to the Mrs for the MB but the brand new Accord Vtec wheels were my present to myself.

Buyee deliveries!

Phoenix M-chassis conversion kit for Kyosho TF-2, aluminium bulkheads and other upgrade parts for my other TF-2, and TF-4 aluminium arms and various bits for TF chassis cars. I'm most excited about the conversion kit. Never heard or seen it before so I had to get it and I got it for a good price because no one else was bidding on it. I didn't meant to get that many bumpers. I thought I had bought just one of each but it was actually a set of three.

I didn't know I wanted this until I stumbled across it . . . Kinda my theme this week as I impulse purchased four kits so far. The first one showed up today. Never run, not a scratch, with an ESC installed but the MSC saved in the box so I'll swap it out. Gotta love it!

Also scored a 58042 manual:

Scratch the MSC swap . . . It turns out there's three little posts that get removed when installing an ESC. Since they are gone now, there's no way to install the MSC. After looking at it better, I think the PO chose this particular ESC because it's blue and orange and matches perfectly 😂. I'll just leave it be!

Delivered today from RCJAZ....7458Kms away from my country and delivered 4 days later!  Their service is top notch. So I sent another order for more Tamiya bbx hop-ups to complete the build. So happy I purchased this buggy, I was going to buy a shumacher cougar but i prefer realism with this Tamiya bbx kit.

Finally hit the button on a set of JIS screwdrivers after all these years. Made in Japan. Purchased from eBay. When they arrived they were in an Amazon padded envelope, complete with an Amazon receipt inside which was $10 less than I paid. :( Told Mrs Falcon about it & she said it's a thing. People put items on eBay that they don't actually have, once purchased they then buy it on Amazon and send it direct to you for an inflated price. Cheeky mongrels...

Yes not cheap shipping, the bbx in Australia is $500.00 and up, so even after shipping costs for the kit alone, it was a little less than buying in Australia, plus they stock all the bbx hop-ups listed in the kit, so I could get everything shipped together, then the shipping cost went up 😄

The one item I wanted from PJ… and the rest of the stuff I brought because I’m daft.

 I’m actually quite excited about building the shocks up but haven’t settled on which car they’ll go on so I brought springs for everything. The wheels and tyres will be my on-road option for the XV-01 and the various DT parts will be used to go sort of ‘MS’ spec.

Very nicely painted, no signs of run time, and was built hopped up with bearings and a 540. I guess I "need" a Candy Green version now 😂

I think this wraps up today's mail haul:

* Fighting Buggy

* Futaba FP-2PBKA Magnum Junior (~1988/1990?)

* BBX Running Gear (when/if Tower ships it)

Yes! I had one for my RC10 Championship Edition. Wish I still had both.

This one is a time capsule - still has the plastic film around the knobs!
