I’ve not had a chance to look properly yet but seems like a cool little book.

This one looks really cool with the TS-26 contrasting nicely with the TS-12 and the black parts. All the stuff one could do ... :)

One package delayed, but not a bad delivery day otherwise:

Edit 1: Still with the posting pics issue?!? I'll try to add/edit it later . . .

Edit 2: Trying with a smaller pic and using paste, not attach:

Why did I buy this? I have absolutely no idea. I had some AliExpress coupons to use up and got this for less than £40 delivered. I'm still not sure that I need it

@GeeWings @JimBear it always gives me hope for optimism when I see that the likes of blockhead and tamiya still produce magazines and catalogues when it seems like everyone is going down the road of eradicating actual printed material I’ve also seen that  actual printed magazines are still quite popular over in the far east:) I personally think printed material is so important especially for historical information! In the uk we have no actual printed rc car magazines anymore:( plenty of rc flying (helicopters, planes, drones etc) magazines even scalextric magazine but rc car magazine is obviously not viable which is very disappointing IMO?

Anyway on that note I got these delivered yesterday very nice indeed some fantastic pictures and although I can understand the text they are beautifully presented!

Yes, I totally agree. They have lots of great paint schemes and customised builds. It’s a shame the two proper releases (Wild one and hotshot) are a bit lacking in comparison.

@moffman yes!  I still love to have a physical book or magazine to take off the shelf and browse.

Only just saw the photos as my work VPN blocked them.

Did you get them for a reasonable price? I’ve been after these for ages but not found them at anything other than silly money.

I am also happy to see some stalwarts keeping on - always loved flipping through magazines and books and catalogues (the Airfix catalogue was a big hit with me as a boy). Would love to see more of the Blockhead book, if there is anything else cool in there, @GeeWings.

I just received the new grille for my Wild Willy, it's a 9 slotted Willy's MB style!

IMG_7530.jpg.f0679a04cd1c727753d6f3a3be2d684e.jpg

I found the 9 slotted grille on shapeways but it didn't have the holes for the headlights. So I contacted the creator, Magic's Models, and he was so kind to adjust his design to my wishes and post it so I could order it. 👍

If you wan't it too, you can find it here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/8CMH6NPAC/wild-willy-grill-without-radiator-with-18mm-holes

Yeah me too was after them for an eternity! And could only find them in Japan or far east at really stupid prices but I was browsing on eBay on bank holiday Monday morning and found them both from different people £60 both including p&p sounds a bit steep for two books but looking at how much people are asking for them overseas I don’t think that’s bad at all:D

4 nice chevron monstertruck wheels, 175mm diameter, I will use these on a recently aquired TNX chassis that I want to electrify (brushless, LIPO).

Compared to a Clodbuster, that chassis is HUGE!

Yesterday the Amazon delivery person brought me a racetrack!
I went and checked out a local club last week and will be going back in a couple of weeks time to have a go so some practice is in order.

Now you too can be slightly disappointed with the speed of your cars like I was initially and then spend more money upgrading them 🤣

I'm stupidly happy about this score! Looks to be built to 90% then used as a shelfer. Tires and wheels are perfect, and to have all the parts on trees waiting to be finished, and the box, manual and decals, too? I guess it's true, the third time really is a charm, but I'm stopping at three, I swear!
