I'm jealous, as always!

The green metallic NFB I just scored came with a couple NIB NiMH batteries. From my 2 minutes of research, I think they are Kyosho brand and discontinued. Labels say Route 246 - Muscle Power, with Tamiya connectors. One is a 3000 and the other 3600. Date on the inserts both read 2012. I guess I'll hold on to them to run in a Kyosho buggy if I ever get off the fence and order one, lol.

Bit late, as it arrived last week, but I got this too!

My special Tamiya collection sits at:

- TB Evo5MS (BNIB)

- TRF 415 MS (BNIB)

- TRF 415 MSXX MRE (BNIB)

- TRF 416 World Edition (BNIB & Shrinkwrap)

- TRF 416X (BNIB & Shrinkwrap)

- TRF 417X (BNIB)

- TRF 419 (BNIB & Shrinkwrap)

- TRF 420 (Used, was Kentech’s)

- TRF 420X (BNIB)

A few more still to add, plus I want to start racing so the TRF 421 will be ordered in multiples soon.

Luke

Very nice. Very pleased with my 2nd one, building it would have been even better!

Two more kits scratched off my list, and a decent empty box find, to compliment my Clod Buster:

Excellent choice!  I think you're gonna like this one.:D

I bought an MTX-1 kit a while back and went full "Ivan Stewart" replica with the livery.

It's my first and only MST (so far) and I was very impressed with overall quality of the kit.

Anyway, I hope you will enjoy the build.:)

These arrived today, thanks @Aerobert and @naturbo2000 for the info on slimmer hexes...

Z8fiTLm.jpeg

Does anyone know of a slimmer profile flanged nyloc wheel nut than the standard Tamiya size? I know you can get slimmer nuts which have the serrations on the back, as a way of locking the nut on, but I'd like to stick with nyloc and also blue if possible.

Try searching for combinations of "nylon hex flange jam lock nut" - Jam nuts are thinner than normal nuts.

2 deliveries in the last couple of days, a very essential blue servo saver cap for the XV-02 & Giulia body from RCJaz.

Battery posts x3 since soldering posts straight on to an ESC worked well on a GH recently. And just the 1 pair of Giulia wheels (lol) Took a chance on RC Hobbyland here in Oz, I ordered 2 pairs but when I was refunded $5 the other day I knew what was coming there 🤣.

Just for info, my older Giulia body that was on an M06 (as a few others to I believe) had a slight defect in the front valance, glad to report the new one is perfecto 👌🏻

And now for something completely different . . .

Today I received someone's 58385 kit (Tamiya BMW 320si WTCC 2006) , instead of my Celica Gr.5 painted body!

As chance would have it, the guy is only about an hour away from me, and both packages shipped from a seller in Australia.

I'm hoping he gets the delivery soon and maybe we can meet up - If he's reading this by chance and freaking out, send me a message, LOL!

I did successfully get these today though:

I'm sure I will. Been eyeing this since it first came out. One of the best looking MT kits ever. I might do a more realistic tube chassis for this at some point from brake line or brass tubes.

I won an award from work that we could turn into a gift card.  Only gift card retailer that I could use for RC stuff turns out to be Walmart.   I ended up finding an aftermarket heavy duty servo saver for $9 a piece  Looks like the Tamiya 51000.   I was surprised when they showed up that the sprue inside is actually stamped "Tamiya".    The packaging is generic and no instructions but it appears to be of good quality.

On another note, I think I may have to look at this Walmart.com online options more.  I also bought some shocks using the same gift card that came in last week.   Turns out the were sold by Horizon Hobby through Walmart.   They were the exact same price on Walmart.com as they were from Horizon, but the shipping was free through Walmart.com.   Horizon would have charged freight.

A very nice Big Bear arrived today...
NkSAts4.jpeg
Even though it doesn't have proper tires, its state is great. I'm not even sure it has ever been run... The rims are with the car, as well as 3 tires, but they are not really in good state...

Not sure yet how I'll manage the tire issue (I may very well have to print a few tires)

A new transparent gear case ... :o ... I envy you ... :D

I bought a NIB Mad Fighter a few years ago and didn't like the transparent gearcase so I used a normal black one. Think the transparant one is still in the box... Could check it out for you?

Picked up a Fazer FZ02-RCV Conversion for a spare Fazer MK2 I had because I liked the FZ02-R so much.  Aquired a Optima 4WD with some extras for a great price.

Thanks! This club is booming man :D. Took me several hours to scroll through this and the "So, What Have You Done Today?" thread alone. Some amazing work has been put in.
