@HornetRacer 1971Thanks a million Simon! I had to take it outside for pics to try to capture the pink metallic! For pics Inside, it gets all washed out with reflections. It's really something you can only fully appreciate in person:

I had a brilliant bank holiday weekend of teapot racing, taking both the drivers' and constructors' championships, but had to miss prize-giving, so the organisers were kind enough to mail me my medal and certificate.

Who doesn't like a nice pair? So I bought 2. All together for 30 bucks. Glad I am. Should fit pretty well a Super Sabre build with low sticker scheme.

Were you going offroad or on loose surface this year? I see you are on rallyblocks. Last year you were on paved surface,  if I am correct.

I expect this creation to enter the next postal racing round B).  I remember last years car- eh.. teapot - did remarkably well. I was one of those who made the error of underestimating a teapot manned by a competent driver:D.

The obstacle course is laid out on flat tarmac, but the obstacles themselves are made of a variety of materials such as wood, plastic, foam, bone, fabric, etc. The versatility of the rally blocks comes in handy when traversing them.

Some bits to recommission the TT-02 carpet racer. Unfortunately I picked up two front damper stays, which wasn’t very smart.

Still, I guess there are worse things to waste your money on. If I was a drug addict I’d have spent hundreds of pounds on little baggies of imported stuff to feed my addiction…

oh…

The "Super Fast, Super Stable"* Super Champ (I'm stubbornly sticking with the old name) from @toyolien that also includes aluminium wheel covers, chassis and oil bottle, ball diff and some other bits n bobs, so it will be a relatively blingy example I think. Plus the long awaited last little body clip posts for my TD4 battery door project, new front tyres for my Falcon from @KEV THE REV and an Aluminium Astute front Bulkhead from Pargu.

I've got some projects to get back into (and not these ones til I've ticked off some others)!

*reminds me a little of Teresa May. What was her slogan? "Strong and Stable" I think. See how that panned out...

I also got a package from Asiatees today. All parts for the winter XV-01,  except 3 more sets of 3racing fast gear set for the M-05, since I am taking the chance on the Yeah Racing gear diff with one toth too less. I also got a set of free alu hexes (thanks for the tip, Alvinlwh), but forgot them downstairs.

Ooh I look forward to seeing your build. I was half tempted myself, to build a little 4wd postal racer, but I really don't need one more kit!
