Mostly, yes.   There's a low CG optional chassis made but Traxxas and this car has the lower CG chassis out of the box.   The body is real cool looking and pretty scale.   Also has Traxxas's new body removal clip system.   I was just running my at an outdoor track today.

Yes, very odd that you have to take these apart to be sure, but at least the box has a tiny reference to 10T or 9T

But you'll like the chinese motor guard when you at some point decide for brushless. It will fit directly and give the necessary space for the solder tabs.

Glad they didn't manage to damage the actual content, I was worried! 

This is going to be one fantastic project, really looking forward to the end result. Best chassis and body combo in my opinion!

Brilliant. This body looks to accomodate 60D tyres,  so you have that option. This is gonna be fine.

The original on the M-02L chassis even came with different tires for the rear (super grip) as for the front. (Regular)
