Best chassis and body combo

Still undecided. Might put this on the XM-01 PRO and the Boxter on the M-08. They made 4WD Carrera's in real life I believe but no 4WD Boxters that I can remember.

The original on the M-02L chassis even came with different tires for the rear (super grip) as for the front. (Regular)

@Andreas W it's actually full size TC tires! Very scale accurate for the Carrera.

The rims even had more offset in the back than in the front, too.

I have a set (Porsche "Twists") which I sometimes display on my 993, definitely a cool look.

Got quite a good deal on this one! Considering it had just been re-re-re released I’ve had one on its original 2014 release and sold it together with an avante and about 90% of all my collection about a year after  when I was going through a can’t be bothered with RC phase and this and the avante I instantly regretted letting them go:( don’t know when I’m going to get around building it but I’m glad it’s back in my collection

Have you got the Avante back in your collection? They seem to be readily available. You can even get 10% off from FOG Models (you may already know this).

Another ARTA NSX body for me today, the box on this one is more beat up than usual but for the price I really can’t complain

Yeah I got the avante black when it first appeared and love it! Paid full price but no regrets.

Nice. Avante was my dream car as a kid. I have a boxed one to build hopefully before the end of the year. Love the Mid too

Yeah when it was originally released in the mid to late 80s I used to go to Beatties and just sit and gaze at the avante box on the top shelf and watch the video in the middle of the shop floor with loads of other kids and a fair few dads aswell!

I still remember seeing the original (yellow) one in the local hobbyshop 34 years ago and I still think I should've been enough of a kid to have bought it. But you know, 18 and all grown up. ;)

Well it’s a good thing you’re a kid again. ;)

They are a total hoot!
did I just make this up but I remember did the original have two battery points one in the middle and one at the back so it popped wheelie better? Back in the 7.2v hump pack days!

But you'll like the chinese motor guard when you at some point decide for brushless. It will fit directly and give the necessary space for the solder tabs.

The kit ones are tight but they work fine. These are the Tamiya carbon reinforced ones and I didnt have an issue. Now if that postman would just come, i could finish this build...

My hobbywing Justock didn’t as well as a Team Powers I also have. That was with the stock plastic part. I made it fit though. I also adviced the OP to get a motor like yours because of the double sensor ports. My Justock has it facing forward, which means you need a 40cm sensor cable to make back home

I see a lot of nice and adequate parts on yours. Looking forward to see some more of it.

They are the BEST - I can't imagine the mess I'd have without them

It’s for 1:24 builds which I’ve re-discovered  this year after many years of full stop.. Lexan will remain as rattle can due to how quick it is. A trigger style airbrush feels much more natural to me being a lifer automotive builder. Large surfaces and shapes with a simple pull back trigger.
