richb 0 Posted November 21, 2007 Just in the process of swapping my TD for a Losi Aftershock. Getting the feeling i'm going to regret it!
Mad Ax 9147 Posted November 21, 2007 The aftershock looks like a cool truck - but it depends on when and where you can run nitros without getting hassle from people. Personally I love my electrics because nobody ever complains and they always work as and when I want them
richb 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Thats my major concern TBH. The Noise! I can see myself having to drive to the middle of nowhere to be able to run it. Fancied an E savage or e maxx but not been able to find a decent secnd hand one at the right price
Mad Ax 9147 Posted November 22, 2007 I that case, get yourself a bargain-basement Tamiya buggy so that you can still bash close to home, and keep the nitro monster for fast days out
richb 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Might not be a bad idea! Should be able to pick up something cheap. A guy at work might be pressed into selling his Tamiya Escort Cosworth for not much. I'll have to get into his ribs!
backtomyroots 432 Posted November 22, 2007 Thats my major concern TBH. The Noise! Bingo. By the end of my second tank of fuel when breaking in my TNX 5.2, one of my neighbours made it very clear what he thought of the noise. In retrospect, I agree with him. That truck has been sold off. . . . . . . . . . . . .plus I couldn't keep it running .
