Anyone else heard anything about this? I found the new Mardave site after trawling through this forum during a bored moment at work... First info on the front page is:

I must admit, I'm really excited by the look of this thing - more so than by the new DT02MS... The new Cobra looks like it's got lots of updates for 2008, and yet still maintains a very vintage style that should appeal to oldskool racers from the 80s. Price is also very reasonable for the first 50 sales, considering it includes a motor and speed controller (although no specs are given on the website).

I'm most interested because I recently bought a gold-pan RC10 to make an SCollin's style Poor Man's Scorcher - however the chassis itself has had a hard life and is quite dented, and there are a few parts missing or badly worn, it needs a lot of restoration before it's ready to take my Kamtec Baja body. The new Mardave chassis looks similar to the classic RC10 (although it's flat, not a tub) and looks to be around the correct dimensions for a good Baja project...

Dang, I'd almost decided what to spend next month's money on - now that's all been thrown up into the air again!!

Anyone else excited about seeing a new Brit-made kit on the market?
