Evening All!

Just considering getting another model, maybe one of the above. What d'ya reckon, I'd put full bearings and a sport-tune in either. I'm leaning towards the grasshopper, not least because it's cheaper so SWMBO will be more likely to be amicable about it :D

If you're planning on replacing the motor, than the differences are down to an ABS body vs. lexan, paddle vs. spike tires, and rear friction shocks vs. oil filled units. Honestly, the shocks are the only major improvement and even with them, a solid rear axle car will always be somewhat bouncey. Its almost down to looks at that point. I suppose the Hornet is somewhat of a better value for the money though.

It's really easy to convert one to the other, so if price is an issue, I'd say start with a Grasshopper. And personally, I like the styling a lot better.

Either one will scream with a sport-tuned motor. They're so light, and the gearboxes are really efficient.
