Well got my first vintage today - a pretty decent sand rover! All the major bits are there, so am just looking to do a nice clean rebuild.

I am quite capable of screwing and painting but not so good at fabrication - so i am after

Chrome headlamps

Chrome mirrors

Chrome metal roll bar (more of a single loop without the back supports)

Chrome 'Nerf' bar

Chrome wheels

New tyres

I am going to put modern electrics in so would like a new battery - would this one fit (dont know how to link so here is ebay no.) 300180065061

Many thanks

Can u take a pic of the mount for the 540 motor. i just got a sand rover as well & it still has the 380motor hooked up. I think that I'll have to make a mount for it.

My Rover has most of the hop-ups you are looking for, but they are mostly alloy:

The wheels are available from TC member Rad22Rad Alloys.

The lights were made by TC member Cul-tech (not sure if he is making any at the moment).

I made the rollbar and front nerf.

would you make another rollbar and nerf bar?

emailed cul-tech and waiting impatiently for a reply!

will contact rad now!

I built a Sand Rover with most of the hop-ups on your list (all from the help of fellow TC members). Here is a link to my Rover.. The fabricators names are in my description. Hope this helps.
