Globe Liner

Hi every one, I have just got a second hand tamiya globe liner and I know nothing about them.

Can any one help me with how to set up the gear box so I can change gears, at the moment it has 2 plastic clips on one end of the slider holding it in 1st gear

how do you set it up so I can change gears while driving? do I use a servo to run the slider and if so how does it work so it holds in the selected gear? sorry if this is a silly question but I'm new to this sort of thing. Thanks

Here is the manual for the Aeromax Basically the same chassis

You need a servo fitted to select each gear , the servo just holds the selector rod in that gear

The plastic clips are there just to lock it in one selected gear if you’re not using multi channel radio
