Hi

Any idea where i can get spares for the 959 and celica,i know e-bay is an obvious place to look but parts are scarce on there.Do any of you run your 959'S or are they just shelf queens??

I have a Celica that I run, but I'm pretty careful with it. There is no source of cheap parts for these, and if you lose a dogbone then you might as well consider it 2WD.

Just ask around on TC (like your post! ) and email big ebay sellers directly. Usually they don't list everything they have...

Run it hard!

I run mine in all conditions and on track - indoor and out. They are fun to drive and all parts are avail - as per the above.

Tiewrapping the rear springs in place can save the rear driveshafts from bending.

If you are handy then alu arms front and rear are a good thing to have.

Otherwise, sloppy steering and driveshafts aside, they are quite robust.

I agree if you want spares you have to ask around, after 3-4 weeks i finaly got a set of nip gear casings for 15pounds. Also look on ebay.com aswell as ebay.co.uk as there are lots more bits on ebay.com. I havnt been able to drive my new 959/celica because there is a horrible sound coming from the gearbox and i cant work out what the problem is(please help if you have any idea pm me).

I am still after a celica shell let me know what you have.
