with the sucess of the re-re's do you think tamiya will release the monster beetle or the sand scorcher. if they did i would run out and buy both

i would def buy the better of the 2 seeing i did'nt have one of the originals so would'nt know

the answer to to that. but my hope for a re re next year is the f1 cars.

Both are fairly unlikly- I would say that the only possability of a SS re-re would be on the tamtech chassis, which would be a bit lame in my opinion...

If Tamiya are going continue with the re-re's over the next few years (and nothing is stopping them, they're proving hugely popular) I would say a Monster Beetle has to be a dead certainty. For one its hugely popular, NIB MB's are rare and hugely expensive and secondly they already make some of the bits for it for the Frog/Brat. Actually I think the Hotshot proved that the latter argument is slightly irrelevant anyway since Tamiya can obviously knock out any of the 80's plastic cars seemingly without fuss. The only thing that could stop them is if they don't have the license to reproduce the beetle shell.

A MB re-re is a lot more likely than a Sand Scorcher re-re. If they did a SS re-re it would much more likely they would do it with a modern take on the original.
