Problem withTamiya esc and Acoms reciever?

Hi

I am just making my TL-01 and now I found out the connector on the Tamiya esc, that is in the kit, doesn´t fit my acoms reciever.

Does anybody know if it is possible to make it fit?

It is the same Tamiya esc that are in the TT-01 kits.

If you have an extra acoms servo, use just the plastic part of the plug for the Tamiya ESC. It's fairly easy to push the tabs down and remove the pins from the plug.

The plugs on the Tamiya ESC (and most others) is a Futaba sized plug, these are ever-so-slightly larger than the Acoms one. You can shave a little off the plastic part of the plug and it should then fit in okay, or swap the plastic part with an Acoms one like Shodog suggested. I normally just use a sharp knife to shave off the plug to fit.

Thanx to both of you. I have cut off the little tap with a hobby knife, and it fits perfect.
