Monster Beetle Upgrades

Hi

I was looking at my monster beetle today and decided i am tired of a standard look. So i want to get as many upgrades as possible. I will never be able to afford a thorp diff so i have to stick with the original one but are there any upgrades for the gearbox? i have seen the adjustable motor mount but i dont want to buy one on the usa so if anyone has one in the uk please let me know. I have heard the the frog middle gear is better but im not sure? I think frog dog bones are a must so i need a set of them aswell. Do you have to change anything else to use them? Ball bearings are lying in my parts box and if i dont have enough my spare tl01 wont mind if i take afew Are there any ideas on how to strengthen the rear arms? I need a pair as these ones are broken. I think that is the gearbox done but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Is there anything to strenthen the middle chassis? possibly the frog chassis plate thing? I need a set of body mounts and body so let me know if you have them. Are there anyways to upgrade the front end? I need a shock tower strengthner thing. but i also need a front bumper so i might aswell change the shock tower as it is cracked. The wheels are in average condition but i think they need replacing, any ideas?

So to sum it all up i need the following

Any upgrades as long as they are in the uk and are reasonably priced.

body shell any condition but must be used as i dont want a mint one.

body mounts

new wheels

rear arms

frog dog bones and what ever is needed to fit them

shock tower and stiffener

front bumper, i also like the proline one if somone has a used one for sale?

adjustabe motor mount

Pinion as mine is stuck on the motor and wont come off.

frog chassis thing if it fits?

anything else you can think off

I am also after a motor, thinking off the anaman clash but will it fit using the original mount?

ps i have read the list on moding a blackfoot(or is it the mudblaster cant remember) so please no links to that. btw it is great and i got the inspiration to do my mb because of it.

To strengthen the whole chassis, look here :

You have the Chassis Support Tamiya Blackfoot CRP 1628 which will reinforce the front shock tower, the rear body mounts and the shock mounts.

For the gear box, just follow the great how to you've already found

PS : of course, full ball bearings is a must

sounds more like yours is a parts donor and you need a new ride.

to get your pinion off, heat it with a small torch, it'll lossen and slide right off.

parma, or crp made adjustable motor mounts, finding them in the UK might be tough

You'll have an easier time if you broaden your search to world wide when it comes to vintage stuff. Esp the blackfoot series stuff, here in the US there were tons of it being offered and can easily be found.
