Just received this today - It's an Aluminati Chassis made by Jerry at the Death Metal Garage.

$225 shipped, and it's seriously nice.

Absolutely beautiful welding and finishing, even the body panels are beated around the rods.

Jerry is a serious craftsman, this chassis is right up there alongside my old Boyer chassis - This guy knows his stuff

Anyway, less waffle, more alu horn;

Clicky clicky linky please.... :o

You sure you're old enough to be playing on the internet? B)

HOW MUCH !?!?!?! :o:o:o

That's a very tasty piece of fabrication though :o

I'm all for paying craftsmen for fine work, and didn't actually think it was expensive.

It is nice though :P

Indeed, bespoke craftsmanship COSTS - Period!

Whilst crawlers aren't my scene, you gotta respect the skill in that frame (the forum needs a "not worthy" smiley)

Old enough? Yup. Sensible enough? Oooooh-no! :P

I have ordered a scale chassis, with leaf springs (Seeing a wheel dangle makes me giggle!) I will post a noobs-eye-view build thread when the bits arrive from the US. I wanted something that is mostly capable but still scale, kinda like a decent CC01 chassis but with rails and not a tub chassis. I'll Be asking Twinset loads of dumb questions very shortly!

So far the new Stampede tranny, 2.2 beadlocks and TLT donor are ready and waiting. However I may look at 1.9's depending on how it looks. The Proline Moabs look too big IMHO

As for body I wand something hard (ahem) and Scale, so thinking blackfoot but recon the wheelbase maybe a little small.

Been thinking about a 'proper' crawler, and seriously attracted to the Junfac "Stealth" anyone got any feedback of these babies?!

Did you try searching for 'stealth'? There's a few posts about them

I'll give it a go.... Do you have have one?

No, not a Stealth

Had a Spider truck which used their axles but was a different chassis altogether.

Backtomyroots is your man for Stealth trucks.

If you're buying second hand, the original Stealth used Clod axles, whereas the new one uses GMade's own axles

It would be new- But just a toss up between one of those or a vintage 3 speed. Not sure at the moment. Do you know anywhere in dorset where people Crawl. Iat the moment a few of us meet up with scale rigs (see chef_bikes showroom)

 I live in Oxford fella.

Start a couple of threads (I'll let ya) one about crawling in Dorset (meets and events) and one about GMade Stealths (Monster Trucks)

You'll get far more response if the threads are in the right place with the right title :D

Oooooh Twinset - that's one scrummy chassis, and now its built it looks compact and very capable.

When do we get the action movie?!

I always get the 'I-Wants' with every new chassis you build!

Ryan - if you're playing in Dorset can I come play too? I'm tending towards a Stealth myself because I'm so impressed with my Dragoon, and I love the mental exposed metal frame/tube look.
